Boba Fett is simply stunning.  Its hard to imagine that these are 3-3/4 inch figures.  Your detailing is just great.  On the Carbonite - I want to go back and look at mine to see what you added to it to bring it to life.  My only minor criticism is in the edges of the lights on the floor.  Maybe you can use a colored marker or paint around the white rim that still can be seen on the printed paper.  Like I said this is very very very minor.

I would echo Lestats request for a painting tutorial.  Your wash techniques always come out so well. 

Phruby, glad you like the painted improvemtents.  I'm not sure what do about the uni-tooth.  I may look at it closer and see if I can add another one.

Chewie - thanks for the comments - on the alien - I wasn't actually trying to match the robe and arms in terms of color.  The robe was more of a sleeve-less coverall.   I really wanted to keep this robe on him as I didn't think the body underneath really worked for the look I was going for.

Glad you like the Rykrof - you are the ultimate judge on those ;-)  Like I said in the other thread - it was sort of outside the normal box.  I'm not sure what his backstory would be but I sort of think of him as the "evil anti-hero"

I know this is a double post, but I want to keep my personal thread up to date so here are my entries in the Monthly Challenge and Group Project:

Rykrof Android:





Head: Rykrof (Endor Rebel Soldier) Head Cast (squished cheeks)
Body: IG-88
Arm/Leg - EP1 C-3PO with plating from AOTC C-3PO
Hand Modification - Some part cut off some random blaster I had

Because of the way the IG-88 and 3PO legs us different joint types (both had pegs on them), I had to dremel into the 3PO leg and trim the IG-88 waist.  Unfortunately I had to glue the leg in place to keep it there      I wassurprised that the 3PO and IG-88 legs were the same length.  I also glued the head in place because I was lazy 


For what it's worth.  I finally named this guy:    Semel Odon.  He is a hermit that lives on Tatooine.  His species is the Shenzeeder.

I'm not sure that this is even appropriate topic and I'm not even sure what my question is, but as I've been spending more and more time here, I really like the vibe from this custom community.  I had posted a few things at another SW community site and the Customs area there has almost completely dried up.  I'm finding myself spending more and more time here.  However, when I see stuff like "I'posted this at so and so..." I've started wondering about other sites too. 

Do most people post there work in mutliple sites?  If so, and if everyone is using the same sites, does it get confusing remembering which customs you commented on which sites, etc?  Do you generally have a "home base" forum and then just share with others?  Do you get a lot more varied comments if you branch out to other sites? 

Like I said, I don't even know if its appropriate to start commenting on about other sites within this thread, I'm just curious on hearing other peoples opinions of how they use or don't use multiple customs sites.

If this isn't appropriate for the site, go ahead a lock it up - no harm no foul
