Unfun surprise today at Wal-Mart, Clone Wars and Legends figures have been rolled-up to $7.88, the weeks of $6.50 were fun whilst they lasted.  :(

I think hasbro gets its jollys from showing pictures of figures we will never see at normal retail.

Ha! Maybe.

I immediately looked at the ankles, and lack of a joint there and say "it figures". Not a bad looking figure, but as an action character...at least give us Cato/Embo style ankles.

So I guess we have to send off for each one individually, no throwing in multiple forms in the same envelope. Right?

Imperial Troop transport...oh, reissues.

Ones I might get:

Snail Tank Droid

Snowspeeder

Geonosian Starfighter, never owned one but IIRC from what I read the pointy fronts sagged a log, so stiffer material there.

Luke's Landspeeder, if they toss in something extra...a womp rat a vaporator...smoldering corpses...that's something they should consider, combo packs of items that they won't make for deluxe or battle packs.

And I probably wouldn't get another one unless the deco was amazing, but if they did the Homing Spider Droid again, they need to have less projectile-looking laser barrels. Bugs me the way they look.

And if they don't reissue the Sith Infiltrator next year, I'll be surprised.

I saw one one of these at Target today, along with the Xanadu Blood, the Tri Fighter and the return of the V-19 Torrent.

The Vintage Collection / Re: What Would Be "The End" For You?

I was thinking about this, the vintage collection has gotten me to buy Clone Wars and even Legends more than I had in prior years.  Part of that is the improved articulation in some Clone Wars releases, and some recent additions to Legends, but price and availability are factors.

The Vintage Collection had gotten MOC and nostalgic types to buy more figures, probably. But the same old situations exist, stores are still ordering more Legends and Clone Wars. But now when those go on sale or get reduced, the collector-aimed series (Vintage) does not, which increases its "peg warmers", and makes restocking of that series slower. Instead of Pons Limbics and Brea Organas hanging around on pegs, we have ball-jointed hipped Sandtroopers and ROTS Clone Troopers, which seemed unthinkable 2 years ago. (We also have 4-LOM, which doesn't surprised me, as he bombed back in 2007...enough to make it to clearance at some stores.)

Some people are saying "fold Legends into Vintage". Nah, I say fold vintage into Legends. Then I get a figure stand, a keen card game card and extra weapons for less money!   ;)

Always try to resolve the issue first, of course.

I've never ordered from Tunghori, but my experience with a similar Hong Kong seller was getting a replacement free. One of the Shadow Stromtroopers (the Force Unleashed version) I ordered had a tear through the right ankle by the joint. I sent a picture of it, and he mailed a replacement. Though the replacement didn't have a blaser and  it, like half of the other figures I'd gotten, had one leg longer than the other. But I didn't pay that much to begin with. I almost never win those auctions because I'm reluctant to invest too much money based on a stock photo.

One time I got a scout trooper with two right lower legs, but didn't notice until after I left feedback.  :-[

Packaged shots of New Clone War Deluxe Figures are pictured at Sandtroopers.com. No suprises, it's stuff all seen at Toy Fair,  some of the all new vehicles.

Grievous's mini wheel bike is merely "Attack Cycle". Not the most inspired named, but hey, this is Star Wars.  ;)

thanks for the info Phruby!  $40 bucks =  :-X  but I am pretty sure I am all in on the droid set - still debating the other one....

What you don't want to pay $10 each for those, especially the repacked Vader, Fett and C-3PO?

At least they are overall less overpriced than, say the GI JOE fan club exclusives.

All The Clone Wars (current t.v. series)

1. Coruscant Police Droid (they made the Mandalorian cop that appeared just as often, maybe less).
2. Ziro the Hutt
3. Greedo (probably the only CW Rodian we'll get!  :()
4. Nemoidian Soldier
5. Jedi Halsey
6. Quarren Warrior (cheating because their episode hasn't aired)
7. Nute Gunray
8. Garnac, the Trandoshan Clan Leader (But any of them are good)
9. Demolition Droid (as long as they aren't flimsy)
10. Republic Cruiser Clone Naval Officer

My local Target had a sign out on the shelves tonight in the SW section stating something to the effect that they were out of the Arena sets so as a raincheck they were offering Clone Wars vehicles at half price - $13.49!

All they had was a Hyena Bomber and an AAT repaint, but dang that's a good price.

Nice. I scored the Target TIE Fighter (small wing) last year at a similar offer since they were out of the remote Hailfire Droid that was on sale. (Some chucklehead is trying to sell that TIE on ebay for $100!)

I haven't been around a TRU in a bit but people reported getting pretty much all BP's for 50% off I thought?

TRU online only has the Legacy packs 50%, I checked that last sunday and assume in-store was the same way.

TRU sale seems to be 50% Legacy packaged Battle Packs, they just refused to make their ad clear this time. If there's a price scanner, I usually check items on it before I head to the register.

Wal-Mart exclusives, perhaps that's why no mention. Or did they mention exclusives? I can't remember. They are rounding out the second Geonosis Battle, though so much of it is exclusives.

What episode is the AT-RT from?

Not shown in their ads, but Target has the Geonosis Arena 2 packs for $6.99! (Yes, technically those Legacy releases...)

I actually found Series 2 sets, too. Where had they been for these past months?
