Greetings guys and gals. Just about every time I talk to JediMac, he mentions this place, and I thought I'd finally stop by and see what it's all about.

Well lookie lookie who finally decided to poke his nose into JD?!? :-* <------ (get used to these, we use 'em a lot 'round here!)
Glad to see you finally decided to swing by Josh, and check things out here at ye ol' JediDefender! I'm sure you'll dig it here! Mellow, but very fun vibe (civil too!) and pretty much an all-star lineup of some of the coolest, friendliest, and most knowledgeable Star Wars collectors on the net, most all of which I'm sure you're already familiar with!
So kick your feet up, and check things out Josh! We'll be looking forward to your thoughts around the boards here... And feel free to give any of the staff a shout if you've got any questions, or ideas on how we can make JD a better place!
So... Should we start up a Hoth Han coat thread in honor of your arrival? We've got all the necessary participants in place now! :P ;D Kidding... Just kidding... :-*

P.S. Did you ever manage to locate my wife up there in Seattle? I think she's still sitting around somewhere in that large package I sent her up there to you in... Brent's (Morgbug) been looking to trade for her of late, but I can't trade what I ain't got! Must find the wife... LMK if you stumble across her anywhere! :-\

You know, I never did find you wife. But I haven't worked on my Star Wars room or cleaned out my garage in a REALLY long time, so she might be in one of those somewhere. That's if she ever arrived. I'm telling you, you should file a claim with the USPS and see if they'll give you a new wife.
That is, if you bought the 30 cents worth of insurance (which I think gets you a million in coverage or something). Just think, with that settlement money, you could get yourself pretty much any wife you wanted. ;D

But somehow Richard Simmon's just doesn't seem to sound right. I think he's a little "happier" than I am, most of the time.
If I was some sort of infomercial guru, I'd MUCH rather be Ron Popeil. He rocks. :)

Welcome Josh! You'll soon discover (if you haven't already) that this place is great. 8) Friendliest bunch of collectors I've ever come across on the net! I haven't even seen the slightest hint of chaos, disruptive behavior, arguing, flaming, insulting, disrespecting, etc., etc., etc. Everyone here is just a big bunch of buddies! Very refreshing to be a part of. So welcome to the friendly bunch! Have fun.
