Since Hasbro has started pre-ordering figures from 2022 TVC Wave 4 , I thought I'd go ahead and create a list for this one. Not sure if today's pipeline reveals of Ep2 Anakin and TCW Mandalorian Commando will end up in this wave or another one. Here's Jayson's rumor list (taken from his very excellent 2022 Master UPC/DPCI/SKU List Update (https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2022/01/03/2022-master-upc-dpci-sku-list-update/).

After seeing Axe, Koska, and Migs today, I'm looking forward to Jayson leaking Hasbro announcing these... wonder what they could be at this point?
Cobb Vanth, Tusken Robes Fett (Tython) and Dark Trooper will all probably be "expensive deco" type releases so maybe not them.
The Client? Frog Lady with Egg Bucket? Cloaked Luke Skywalker? Peli Motto? X-Wing pilot (Carson Teva or Trapper Wolf)?

Well, that speculation ended quickly - Jayson updated his rumor list (https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2022/01/03/2022-master-upc-dpci-sku-list-update/) for this wave and it looks like it changed a little. I guess Bothell and Seattle were not Mando figures after all unless Hasbro shifted things around. New rumor list for this wave:

The character selections seem so completely random now - nothing is really current. I have zero idea of what to expect at this point that's not in the current shows. And even that's confusing, since we have to wait close to a year or more for a character to make it from on screen to a fully realized figure.
MAYBE there will be more characters from Clone Wars season 7. Bad Batch? Who knows? Maybe the Client, since the Black Series figure is out, and they want to fill out the Nevarro Cantina. And perhaps a figure that works with the upcoming throne room playset.

I've been looking more closely at the Anakin with the softgoods. The cloak is awkward in general. But the color looks like it's black and not dark brown. And with the hood up it doesn't look good.

I really like the super commando figure, count me in for at least 6 of him. I don't recall from the art or his deco, this wasn't a specific character, right? He is just a more generic soldier?
Anakin looks good. I have plenty of Anakins though so it doesn't overly excited me. I'll still probably end up grabbing one though.

I bought the case. Here's the assortment. And it really does annoy me to no end that Hasbro will let the online retailers list the case for sale, but only reveal 2 of the characters in it.

Seriously? The two characters revealed in the case are only 1 per case. Including the Mando with troop building potential? FFS.

I ordered the case off EE using the link on the main JD page. I thought the two Stormtroopers were part of that case, but apparently they're solo releases? I added one of each along with the case. Hoping EE takes better care of them than what I've received from Amazon or Walmart.

The condition of what I've been getting from EE is infinitely better than Walmart. Amazon seems a bit better, but not if you're a MOMC collector.
I think we're probably going to see a significant improvement in the condition of the cards. Especially since the cardstock seems to have been beefed up beginning with the reissue wave that's just making its way out to US customers now.

Images leaked of what appear to be the other 3 figures in this wave (https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2022/05/21/new-tvc-figures-from-obi-wan-kenobi-revealed/#more-53854) from a TVC Boba Fett - Morak cardback. And if supposition is correct, the TBD figures in the case are from the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series. That Boba Fett is supposed to hit next month, IIRC. So for once it seems like the reveal schedule might be close to being back on time. And we can probably expect these to be officially revealed in one of the Obi-Wan Wednesday posts on The Official Site.

That doesn't appear to be the case. There's a video on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6YbSjClPxI) where Emily opened up a sample and showed off the figure. It sounds like this one was built from the ground up. It's got the lightsaber as well as the unlit hilt, and interchangeable hands. And if there was a removable helmet that would have been one of the first things she showed.

I wouldn't discount that train of thought. In the video Emily said that this Vader was the first all-new effort on Darth Vader that they had done in 10+ years. Previous releases, like the ROGUE ONE Vader, were based on previous sculpts. When Hasbro made that 500th edition Darth Vader they kept on cranking out Vader releases based on that figure for years to follow.

Honestly if they just want to tweak it and give us the different versions we need (inner robes over the armor for ANH, whatever changes needed for ESB, ROTJ, removable helmet, etc) I'd buy them in a heartbeat. This is a great scenario, where they've created a perfect template and now they can iterate on it.

Found a whole case of this wave at Target on my way home from work today. I was utter shocked at finding these in an actual retail store. Feels like forever since I actually found something in a store when I still needed it. :P

Target seems to be the only US retailer that's gotten these so far. It makes me wonder if Walmart or online retail are far behind?

Yeah, my Target that I ran by just now had 0 TVC on the pegs. The only 3.75" figure they had was the Droids R2 and just one of him. Otherwise, there was some 6" figures, lots of the carbonized ones, but there were lots of empty pegs (which all seemed to be designated for Black Series, 0 TVC pegs).

3 out of the 4 Targets I've been into recently had new figures, but it was the Deathwatch / Ahsoka / 501st Clone / Shand wave.

Maybe Ol' Ben was really hitting that fermented bantha milk hard to deal with his sorrows.
That joint is really wonky. It's easily the worst part about the figure. The rest thought is great. I LOVE the little LOLA Droid. (It really makes me want a Cal Kestis with a little BD-8) I got my Kenobi, Anakin, Reva, & Mandos from Amazon this week still no Vader yet, and Amazon still has him listed with a ship date of November 3rd, 2022... Hopefully that changes soon.

No, because Hasbro sort of admitted they revealed them out of order. This wave should have been "wave 4" but they wanted to protect the Obi-Wan reveals closer to the show and the "Obi-Wan Wednesdays" marketing stuff.

I was just checking out the Banthaskull review of the new Darth Vader (https://www.banthaskull.com/photo_galleries/gallery/ph-vc241) in this wave, and they have a comparison image (https://www.banthaskull.com/images/VC_2022_Photo_Gallery/vc241_darth_vader_dark_times_30.jpg) of the last several TVC and 3.75" Black Series Darth Vader figures. OMG! The differences are crazy! This new Vader figure looks so good that it makes almost every previous Darth Vader look pretty bad in comparison - even the ROGUE ONE Vader which is a relatively recent sculpt.
