Well, you really shouldn't blame the whole for the actions of the few. You may have pissed some people off enough that no one will want to critique you at all.

Wait, this really got out of hand all of a sudden. Once again, I did not intend to offend anyone or tick ANYONE off at ALL. If I did offend someone unintentionally, I apologize. I enjoy any critque, because most offer helpful advice on how to make a custom better, and they're very helpful.

I apologize wholely for any inconvience I have caused you.

Er, I'm pretty sure he didn't "blame the whole for the actions of the few."  In fact, I'm fairly certain he didn't even come close to doing that... But that's just my opinion.

ANYway, Darth Nirvana, it seems like you've got a great attitude toward the critiques. Keep up the learning process & neat work! You've got an interesting style. And while I'm not how I feel about it, I do know that it has a uniqueness to it that is certainly worthy of attention.

Thanks everyone for their nice comments...it's nice that SOME people enjoy my customs, and not just point out impurities and discrepancies in my work, or completely bashing me for 2 customs that apparently weren't absolutely PERFECT... ::)

Hm...does that really seem like he's blaming everyone?

D_N, these guys are just looking for trouble, just ignore them. I had to put up with it during my time at RS, so I know how you feel.

Well, thanks for the support from Roton7 and PenDragon. I'd like to just forget about this and stick to the topic on hand- customs.

Almost everyone who posted in my thread agreed that the drybrushing didn't look very realistic and they opted for just a plain wash.

So, in any event, here are the two Scouts, one with a rifle with a working cloth sling strap and a Clone Pilot helmet. Also pictured is Commander Revik redone with a wash as well, with a custom sling strap. I think I like the brown strap better than the black one.

Well, I hope you like them. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

No prob, and now for more about your customs:

I'd have to agree, not only does it look less ragged, but it adds a nice, understated touch of color to your crew.

The same goes for the visor on the pilot/scout. Have you tried that color on a biker scout's visor? It might be too much, but it might look neat too...

Those looks awesome DN.  I still think you should go a little lighter on the weathering on the faces, but the Scout Trooper on the right and the guy on the left look almost real.  Very, very well done.

Well, it seemed to me that he was whining about a bad critique. If I took that the wrong way I apologise. BUt I don't think I was wrong.

I wasn't calling anyone wrong or "whining about a bad critique". I was just venting about a really unnecesarily rude post I received completely bashing two customs of mine. I won't post it here but if anyone wants to see it just PM me.

I didn't want anyone to get offened or ticked off, but if I did, I'm sorry.

Now, can we get back on topic on hand, which is customs. Famine, did you like the paint scheme better on the first one? I liked the strip but I decided to go with the chest plates instead. Or, did you like the drybrush?

I've been there too DN, with people bashing you and acting rude.  Don't let it get to you, you do a great job.  Besides, usually when it's someone bashing someone's work, they offer no good ideas in customizing and you never see customs that they've actually made.  So don't worry about it bud!   :)

Yeah, I'm just gonna forget about it.

I reworked Lt. Dinoa and also made a new clone for Gunship 1, Corporal Hunre'e. I've also created an insignia for them (I love MS Paint) and just glued it onto their armor. I'm officially going to say they're complete.

LIEUTENANT DINOA, GUNSHIP 1- LIGHT COMBAT SPECIALIST

The insignia for the 367 Legion is on his chest armor.

CORPORAL HUNRE'E, GUNSHIP 1- DEMOLITIONS SPECIALIST

Clones!

Group shot with the Scout and Pilot- both with the same insignia

DN- I like the look fo the clones.   Your use of soft goods is quite good, especially on the Kama.  What is the base of the legs on these guys.  For whatever reason I can't place it.

My only critique is that I think that HUNRE'E may have a slightly too long neck post though.

Now thats a rough looking crowd. Your Customs are really starting to Improve, I think this is the Best Batch Yet. The Soft Goods Kama looks very Good.

Keep up the Great Work.
