Clemens Shuns Retirement to Join Astros

The Astros called a news conference for Monday. Clemens agreed to a contract Sunday, the source said on condition of anonymity.

I for one am happy to see Clemens pitch again. he was one of my favorite pitchers to watch.  One of the great pitchers

the Packs loss was a tough loss for me Sunday. I agree the pass was a WTF moment. There were a few of those though. 4th and 26 and they let the Eagles convert.   Now its time to root for a Colts Carolina super bowl.   GO Colts :)

There has also been a large selection of the micro protos on ebay as of late. prices were pretty reasonable on those as well.

I always liked the sets but never had many as a kid. I do get tempted to add a few more to the collection from time to time but I have been slow at doing that.

As far as sets go I think my fav was the Hoth sets.

I'm with Brent get a woman who makes big bucks ;)

Actually I am in a good situation with the wife bike wise. I bought my bike a few years ago and she was all for it. It sure tooka  big dent out of  "my cash" but she enjoys taking rides on it.  Now though I am selling the thing come spring. No time to use it.

Anyway what type of bike are you looking at getting?

The micros can be fun. There are enough out there that you can get a start on a collection pretty easily. Some are a tough ( expensive find)  like the tie bomber but they can be found. Carded examples are around and some can get scarce if you get into foreign carded ones. But all in all it is a nice extension.

I have a few. In the collection forum I have pics of my micro hand painted prototype, I think the thread is labeled prototypes here is a link

Well I am looking forward to the weekends games as well, but I see the picks slightly differnt that some.
 First.  Rams over Carolina
Pack over the Eagles and not just becasue I am a Pack fan and live in GB.
 Indy wins
 Pats win

And Scott if the Pack gets blown out ( 14 or more) I will send you a special belated Bday present.

And the dreads are not anything more than Moss's stupid afro sticking out of his helmet the last few weeks;)   But I agree if they are there and you have to grab them to tackle go for it.

Sue buys alot of candles- I really don't have any favorites to say but I know I hate the spiced ones.  If I had to pick I usually would go for the berry ones or vanilla.

WOW   What a piece of work. I agree it blows away the ATAT.  heafty price tag and I would hate to get that shipping bill but it looks awsome. The detail is unbeleivable.
