Sounds like TRU will be getting an exclusive Geonosian Warrior (non-zombie version) DLX set this Spring... from HH (http://hanshideout.blogspot.com/2010/10/hasbro-star-wars-q-session-31.html):
1) Have you decided yet what set will accompany the Yavin IV Technician and Sled in the TRU exclusive deluxe assortment next Spring? At Celebration all you could offer was that it would most likely be Clone Wars themed - any chance you can let us know what the other set in assortment will be?
** Yes, we will reveal... it will be a Clone Wars Geonosian Warrior (non-zombified) on a speeder. Right now we're looking at a March '11 on-shelf date.

That's pretty cool. I'm guessing though, that he'll come with a repaint of Dooku's?
-
That is completely awesome, the line has been begging for a regular Geonosian since the Point Rain arc.
I don't recall any Geonosian riding Dooku's speeder though.
Come to think of it, I don't recall Geonosians riding any kind of speeder vehicle. I mean, they can fly - what's the point?
-
There were bugs on speeders in the Geo arc - they rode around Obi and his crew as they circled the wagons.
-
Yes, I recall those now, and I do believe it was on speeders just like Dooku's.
-
So it this the dude pictured on the front page??? Or is that the Geonosian from the 2-pack?
Hmmm...
I am seriously considering bidding on this one...
-
I'm guessing it's from the 2-pack as other figures from those have turned up.
-
I might bid on it too - lord knows the TRU version will probably be $30, since their regular deluxe are up to $21 now.

It would follow that, since he's got the Geonosis Battle Droid from the upcoming Target two-packs, the drones are from them as well.

Really? I've searched for Waxer and the Special Ops Clone every day on eBay since those were announced and I have never seen either up for auction. Tunghori is one of my Favorite Sellers too.
Yah, I've seen the Battle Droid but who the hecks needs another one of those?

Sandtroopers (http://www.sandtroopers.com/smf/index.php?topic=14236.msg267624#new) has a pic of geonosian w/speederbike. I didn't know bugs rode bikes?

There's actually a separate thread for this TRU Exclusive a little ways down in this forum.
They did a great job snagging a sneak peek, but I wish the picture was a little bigger so we could get some more detail on the Drone. I am fascinated to know how this is different from the Target 2-pack version coming out later this year.

Yep, and Adidas is their corporate sponsor. :P

Sweet!

Cool, I'll get one or two of these.
-
LOL..."March '11 street date" my arse.
I feel like this thing is long overdue and at this point should be the next new Clone Wars item that hits the shelves. I doubt we will see any more new figures before SDCC, and who knows what's up with those battlepacks and deluxe sets that have been previewed so far.

Posted this elsewhere, but does anyone have the Item #/SKU/UPC for this thing?
-
This is now up for sale at the tru website.

I scored one of these this afternoon. I like the new deco on the speeder. And the Geonosian adds some variety to the Seperatist ranks. Couldn't find the Rebel pack though, which was thoroughly predictable.
