i'm still diggin that jedi luke, he kicks soooo much a$$ it's not even funny.  and him in a battle stance with D Nihilus  :o
very nice stuff.  i like the the D luke i see where you're going with it, but it's just those shoulder, not fault of yours obviously.

cool with a comparison pic between your paint job and the original, it definately gives your custom an extra point in how good it is.  i thought the paint apps on the head were the original, good job once again.

dude chewie, what a  :-X to come at you like that.  i'm sure people here wouldn't act that way towards your work.  if they don't like your stuff then don't look at it.  i don't think your reaction would be considered immature, if somebody would slame me like that they'd better consider themselves lucky i could only type at them.  no worries though dude take it like water off a ducks back, if they had the balls you wouldn't have to search for his name he'd have left it.

great scott chewie!!! that looks good.  do you think it'd be possible to put the gunner clone legs on him?  i know in some the game pics he's kinda squat running, sorry don't how to describe the pic i saw :-\, like he's kinda entering a room that he knows he gonna see some action in.

digging the marine.  he'd look really good in some sort of small dio, knee deep in snow or something.  the skirt is a good addition and really looks like it belongs there.  i really like the paint apps/color choice for Corran, and the head is a good choice.  but i'll be damned when i first looked at it i was like oohhh!!! where'd you get the Bruce Willis head.  Is it just me?  Did you paint the head or did he come like that?

glassman i was thinking of something while i was sitting in traffic the other day.  i had just finished looking at your casts for the jango helmets and admiring the helmet cast for the clones and stormies before i had left work so they were still fresh in my mind.  have you ever thought with all the mad skills you have at both sculpting and casting about doing stormie clone hybrid helmets?  who wouldn't want to have a stormie helmet with the Bacarra style additions, or stormie helmet w/cody helmet styling or even stormie with neyo styling.  it would give or stormtrooper legions some variety.  you'd have to think that not all of the additions and stylings were just to give the clones some character they had actual purpose.  it would also make for good evolution from clone to stormie.  in the evolution of the 2 they changed the helmet from EP II to EP III so in between EP III and EP IV keep the keep the helmet and change to stormie armor.  i think chewie did an evo of a stormie with 501st legion markings which was cool.  i know i through out a lot of ideas at once but it's just a thought.

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: Painting Facial Hair?
« on: April 4, 2006, 05:20 PM »
yes once it's been sealed it doesn't rub off.  although just for future references i've used the light grey charcol on a dark green vehicle to simulate scratching and what not and when i went to seal it, poof it just like went away.  i don't if it was that something wet against a light charcol, but all the time and effort down the drain.

good to see your back.  your talent needs to be continually shared.  can't wait to see any new stuff.

artist charcol.  they come in little rectangular sticks.  not sure of the brand.  i think it's used in shading or something.  but it's good to use for facial hair, carbon scoring, exhaust, etc.  you can use a trimmed paint brush, or some sort of make up sponge.  just watch your finger you'll leave prints on pretty much everything you touch.

this is a really fantastic figure.  great job all around, top to bottom, fig to card.  always impressed with your stuff.  any close up pics of the other Darths you have on the card back?  i've seen the others but i've not seen those Darth's of yours yet.  keep up the good work.

cadist that is great really just k-ool.  but somebody better tell rykrof that there's a couple of detonators on the side of his tank  :o  great use of parts great paint really impressed.  i'd love to see more people make custom vehicles especially since hasbro seems to not want to.  even though Phruby beat me to it if decide to make another one like this by all means i'll shove whatever i can to the side to make room for it on my shelf.  how about to give it a WW II feel through a repub/imperial flag on it.  or a thick hose, or one of those big antenaes that arcs from the back to the front.  or some kill sillouettes.  definately agree with Ryan add a faded logo on it.

you could cut off the balls  ;D and switch them and keep cutting the actual neck down to size so he's not looking like a giraffe or anything.  and then repaint the skin to match.  i'd suggest drilling a hole in both the neck and the ball and glue some sort of post, paper clip or pin, for suppport when you glue the ball to the neck.
