I am attempting to modify a Jango Fett jet pack for a Captain Rex custom but I hit a roadblock. I don't want to drill a hole into the him because that looks awful. I drilled it down to where it fits snug up against his back but now I need help on how to keep it there.

I am overwhelmed by all the brands of paint on the market. I've read testors not drying and Tamiya coming off before it fully cuors. Can anyone post links of a brand that they use?

How can I  keep krylon  paint from smudging on a 3.75 inch blaster  I painted?  Do I need to sand the blaster? Or let the paint dry longer than  24 hours?
