I'm seriously considering selling off the carded collection again for lack of space.

As stated above I believe there are around 850 pieces.  It's about 700-750 basic carded figures, plus about 90 deluxe packs, plus about 25 Exclusives in Star Cases.

I do not have straight repacks, but I do have things that were never on the card before, or things that have enough of a paint change to make them into a different troop or soldier or character. There are some pictures in my sig that would probably show a lot of the items available. I have some of the older variants too... long saber figures, Pop-up Artoo with the saber on the wrong side... open hand Han, etc...

Serious inquiries only please, I'm hoping to get about $5 or so per figure, about $8 to $10 per deluxe, and about $12 each for the exclusives. That becomes a pretty big number pretty fast - in essence I'm looking for nearly $4000 to $5000 for the set. I know that sounds like a lot, but I doubt a set like this becomes available very often, so I think that near retail wouldn't be so unreasonable.

At present time I am only interested in selling this as a lot. It would most likely be a complete beast to ship, so buying a one way ticket and renting a truck to drive back to where you live might be the best way to go but we could figure that out if we're able to strike a deal.

The last time I posted this, I received a lot of offers from people who wanted to offer me $1 or $2 per figure so they could break it up and re-sell it, I'm really not interested in those types of conversations this time through.

Pay attention to the opening title credits.  They were done by several co-workers and I at Reel FX Creative Studios.  I animated roughly the first half of it, and a few cards in the second half.  It's the first time I've had the opportunity to work on something that has a major theatrical release.

I can't say if the movie will be great or not, but if you make it all the way through to the closing credits, I was responsible for those too - even though they're not as big a deal as the opening.

Anyway, we're pretty proud of the opening, so I thought I'd toot my own horn and share.

This may have been covered but does anyone know somewhere where I can find reproduction sticker sheets for vehicles?  All the ones on eBay are overseas it seems.  They don't need to be actual stickers, just images of them at the right size... I can print and cut and glue myself...

So I recently decided to upgrade as many of my paperbacks as I could into HC.  I've got 30 or so of these down now, mostly buying them up at a local place called Half Price Books.  They generally run about $8 each.

Then I find out that there are all these NJO books that go on eBay for $30 and $40 and I'm thinking that this doesn't fit with my model of wanting to upgrade as inexpensively as possible...

So I figured I'd ask if anyone around here knows of any place to get some of the more rare books for less.  I know it's a long shot, but what the hey...  And does anyone have info on why some of them are so rare compared to the rest?  I assume it's an edition size thing, but why?



Or if anyone has any of these they want to trade or sell I'm going to put up a thread in the classifieds with a list of ones I do have...




 

We probably all know about the do-not-call list by now... but have any you tried taking steps to reduce junk mail?  They must cut down a tree a week to bombard me with useless advertisements every week... so a co-worker tells me about this site you can go to to get yourself off national mailing lists.  I was wondering if any of you had tried it.

I'm tinkering with the idea of downsizing....

And I'm thinking about starting by getting rid of my carded figures.

So how would you do such a thing?  Ebay?  Forums?  Elsewhere? 

Split them up into lines?  Individually?  The whole thing as one lot?


This collection consists of every carded figure from 1995 to present, plus deluxe, plus lots of exclusive figures as well.
