Looks cool!
The Ewok army is lookin good, heh.
I have those same stands, but some of my kubs don`t like to stand on them.
I was thinking of glueing/taping some cardboard down for a flat surface for
them.

It sure would be nice if the holes in their feet were the same size as either vintage or modern figures so that I could use the extra REAL stands I have.

Somebody scored a vinyl jawa for a good price last night.

Jawa

I don't think that's a very good price on a VC Jawa.  They haven't gotten that high that I've seen lately...

This one that I was bidding on last month went for only $57.50 (reserve met and only 3 bidders, including Tony and I), and it was still sealed in bag, unlike the one above which has already been opened.

I'm still holding out for one at $55 or less.  Some day...

The TRU Sets are now listed on the TRU website. Some good pics too. The rease date is listed as the 15th.

Notice they say Wicket (Ewoks version).  Interesting.  Definitely the worst SW Kub yet.  Better than listing it as Rhomba though.

TRU Set

3,499 Japanese Yen = $29.05

Not bad.  I don't think these are going to go for anywhere close to the prior TRU boxsets.  What'd those eventually settle at?  I recall seeing them in the $60's and $70's for quite awhile, I think.  I'm guessing this new set, with all the rehash/repaints of rather unpopular character no less, will be pretty easy to obtain under $50.  I'm gonna wait to try and get mine for $40ish probably.  Not worth much more than that, and considering their rising popularity and increased production since the last TRU set, I'm guessing this set will be made in even great quantities than last time.

Question is, will I be going "boxed" and loose again on this one...  :-\

Luke Skywalker (Ceremonial).

Imperial R5 Unit.

K3PO.

Ten Numb.

Wicket (Ewoks Version).

Notice they say Wicket (Ewoks version). Interesting.

It's based on the Ewoks line, here's a pic from 12back.com on the vinty carded version.

I noticed another one sold for 79 or so within the past week I think.
Haven`t seen too many of most of the prior chases lately.

I saw Honorius had that set up too. $70.... I don`t know, I`m gonna wait
a bit on this one I think and see where the price goes.
We need someone in Japan that can grab these for us close to cost! That`d
be sweeeeet. I need that K-3P0 for my hoth scene!

I'm not too impressed by the latest box set. Ewoks Wicket is lame.

I know you guys are going to jump all over me for this one, but i think this Wicket is worse than the Be@rbrikck one.

I'm actually digging this set a bit more simply because they are new Kubricks to feed my addiction...  :-[

* Luke - pretty cool figure and there aren't a ton of Lukes yet, so I like him.
* Imp R5 - Will go nicely with my Imp R2.
* K-3PO - the only real "dud" since so many other hoth figs would have been nicer, but he still looks well done
* Ten Nunb - growing on me.  At first, I was bored with him, but I think he'll complement Ackbar and Nien nicely.
* Ewoks Wicket - Who cares what they call him, he'll still look great with Paploo/Logray/Wicket as a nice generic 'wok.

So yeah, I'll be picking up this set and I probably won't even complain about it...

Is it possible that someone will nab it for more than the average carded version have been going for lately?
