Welp, they finally made it official, the Indiana Jones DVD's will be coming to DVD this Fall. Something just leapt to the top of my Christmas list!!!

Sweet. I'll have to get 2 sets. One for me & one for my friend for Christmas as he is a big Indy fan. :)
-
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!
I'll definitely be buying one of those Widescreen sets! The very first movie that I ever saw using a VCR was Raiders of the Lost Ark back in the early 80's.
Yeah baby!!!
-
"Indiana Jones and the Bonus Material." Never heard of that one. Must be direct-to-video.
If the Cairo swordsman shoots at Indy first, I think it's time for a little roadtrip to Skywalker Ranch. It's bad enough they changed the title of the best action/adventure film of the 20th Century, they better just stick to restoration and not have Indy scream like a little girl whenever he sees a snake.

Yeah!!! Indy Jones on DVD!! Now if they would being out Howard the Duck! :)
Yeah Indy Jones!!

I just had a brain fart and started a new thread before I saw this one >:(
Its about friggin time. November is going to be a great month with Indy and LOTR:TTT extended DVDs coming out. I can't wait.
And MisterPL, other than restoration and sound, no other changes have been made (ala guns erased in ET)

And most likely, Matrix Reloaded and X2 will be hitting DVD in November, as well. . .

And we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Exactly my sentiments John! Hopefully Mike's right, and these will be the original versions, like we all remember. I guess since Spielberg is on board with this project too, he'll be smart enough to keep Curious George from screwing the films all up just 'cause he's bored again and has his ILM tinkering tools out to play with... ::)
One thing that sucks about this set though, is that Indy 4 should be coming out in the next couple of years, which will quickly make this box set incomplete and obsolete, with a more complete boxset sure to follow the final Indy flick... I hate it when that happens! :-\

You mean there are three Howard the Duck fans in the world? Kewl. :D
Great villain, beautiful girl and a duck too.

Good old Howard The Duck. Looks like I need a fix on this flick & Buckaroo Banzai too. Saturday night is flick night. ;D

;D Howard the Duck!

As was reported on our front page...

Has been relaunched, looks nice!

The site looks pretty nice, if not a little sparse content wise at the moment. But all in all, it's good to see our favorite (male :P) archaelogist back on the map! Looking forward to those DVDs, and hopefully a new movie sometime in the near future. 8)
Doesn't look like there's going to be any deleted scenes in the DVDs though. Does anyone know if that's indeed the case? Granted I've never really heard of any over the years, but I'd love to be surprised with a few of them in this set!

That is if they even make Indy 4. I have been hearing it for years "It's gonna be made. It's gonna get made. etc." Hope if happens before one of the big 3 Lucas, Spielberg, Ford croak.
