The Original Trilogy / Only 2
« on: November 26, 2012, 08:23 PM »
If there can be only 2 - a Sith Master and and apprentice why is Vader so eager to take Luke to the Emperor in ROTJ ?  Where would his part be if Luke would have fallen to the darkside and he would have lived?  Cleaning toilets?

How come her husband wasn't at the funeral?  Yes it would have been wrong, but why not?  It's his new "empire" and his wife so why not?

The full episode was on yesterday on Velocity via West Coast Customs and the car will be shown at C6.  Guess the Pimp My Ride guy is actually a Star Wars fan....kinda neat - better links out there I'm sure, but in a hurry.

Modern Classifieds / iFett's Buy my Stuff!
« on: March 14, 2012, 03:20 PM »
Okay...starting out EXTREMELY SLOW on my list - basically selling off the majority of my Star Wars collection.  Carded figs won't happen till I sell off most of the larger items.  With that said, this is what I have to offer at the moment to get my feet wet.  More...much more to come, but these 4 are easy to at least list.  Paypal preferred and shipping is extra.

OTC Falcon x2 - $50 each (one opened/one sealed)
POTF2 AT-AT x2 - $50 each (one openeded/one sealed)

Any of you guys get your cc hit who ordered this year?  I went the TF route and my card just got hit this morning.  Should have called in earlier since learning about the whole fiasco, but thankfully they put an immediate hold on my card and it is now cancelled.

Thanks FunPub!   >:(

« on: February 11, 2012, 06:08 PM »
Brilliant!  Looks like it comes with Destro and a B.A.T. + some energon cubes + Destro's case full of cash....and a mini soundwave with tapes!  Neat!  I'm sure I will have bad luck on HTS yet again, but looks like a winner in my eyes.

Collector's Tips / Display Case Lighting
« on: October 20, 2011, 05:42 PM »
So I recently bought some Detlofs from Ikea and was wondering what the best kind of light to use in them would be?  The employees at the store had no clue what this thing was.  They were not on the showfloor and I had to search the warehouse myself to find it.  Anywhoo -  they recommended a 4pack of lights called dioders (again the employees had no clue what kind of case this was since it wasn't on the floor) so I was wondering what you guys use if you have these or similar display cases.

Its been 11 years of collecting for me and I'm finally getting around to this since I finally own my own home.  I know detlofs aren't exactly ideal for Star Wars figures, but I'm not concerned with them at the moment.

Hope this isn't too general of a question...
