Watto's Junk Yard / Mountain Dew Baja Blast
« on: August 2, 2004, 03:12 PM »
Anyone tried it?  Its a new soda exclusive to Taco Bell.  A Tropical Lime Storm

www.dewbajablast.com

I've tried it a couple of times, I usually hate fountain soda because the water usually sucks and they add way too much ice. I like it though

Other Collectibles / Topps Heritage Cards
« on: July 13, 2004, 02:23 PM »
Anyone else excited about these bad boys?  I know I am.  Brings me back to the 70's for sure when these were all the rage.  Plus the uber cool Sketch Cards that were at the official site last night.  I want to buy as many of these as I can

JD Sports Forum! / Summer Olympics **beware of SPOILERS**
« on: July 13, 2004, 02:21 PM »
Anyone excited for the games next month? Hype is starting to build in the press with all of the qualifying in Track and Swimming happening.  I like watching from time to time

This has the potential to be a disaster though.  Terrorism looms over everything and so does the doping of US athletes.

Watto's Junk Yard / Coke C2
« on: June 14, 2004, 03:19 PM »
Anyone tried this new stuph yet? Had it yesterday and its not to bad.  A mixture of Diet Coke and Coke its a lot less sweet than the regular and you can sorta taste the aftertaste of Diet.  I think there was around 150 calories in a 20 oz bottle which is a ton less than regular 20 oz (around 300)

Watto's Junk Yard / What Are You Playing?
« on: June 2, 2004, 02:46 PM »
I've been playing Ninja Gaiden a ton for my XBox lately and also have been known to waste a few hours with MVP Baseball 2004

Been wanting to pick up Fight Night but just haven't yet

Watto's Junk Yard / Day After Tomorrow
« on: May 27, 2004, 04:40 PM »
Well, this seems to be one of the most hyped movies so far this year (along with Chronicles of Riddick) and its looks pretty good.  Anyone going to see it?

Watto's Junk Yard / Shrek 2
« on: May 19, 2004, 04:38 PM »
Just got back from Shrek 2, good movie but its pretty close to Shrek 1.  Antonio Banderas's cat was my favorite

JD Sports Forum! / Greatest Athletes that You Saw Play
« on: May 12, 2004, 05:08 PM »
Both in person and on TV is fine

In Person and on TV!

Baseball Barry Bonds
Football Joe Montana
Hockey Wayne Gretzky
Basketball Magic Johnson

Never got to see Bird or Jordan play live and I'd say Jordan is better than Bird so he is my TV choice.  The rest though are definite locks both ways.

Watto's Junk Yard / Frasier
« on: May 12, 2004, 04:55 PM »
Well the old Doc is going to be finally signing off.  But then I read today that Kelsey Grammar wants to start ANOTHER Frasier series.  Give it a REST dude.  You've been playing the same guy for 20 years, branch out and do something new

The show was over once Miles kissed Daphne BTW, as is the case with all TV shows, once the characters get together after years of flirtation, its over (see Diane and Sam, Drew and Kate and Cliff Huxtable and his Pudding Pop)

Anyone not like these?  I don't it looks to cluttered

Watto's Junk Yard / Everything Walmart *
« on: May 6, 2004, 12:51 PM »
Anyone use the secret Garden Center entrance at Wal Mart, that thing is a gold mine.  No having to avoid the 800 lb fatasses on their Scooters whose fatrolls take up half of the aisle space

The aisles are so clogged with crap that you can't move around.  The prices are indeed lower but its almost not worth going into their crap ass stores
