I didn't mind the "real" story, but why spend a full second episode on the same basic story? A bit frustrating.

Yeah I was just thinking the other day how weird it is they've given us close to nothing on what's up with The Ghost. It'd be nice to know something.

The Stranger helmet sold out on Amazon and Pulse. Did Hasbro under estimate demand or are people buying it to show support and maybe an F U to haters?

You made a pretty bold statement about episode five because of what Reddit said. Regardless you do you. I'd probably finish the final four episodes of a Star Wars show I was already four episodes into, but that's just me.

Like I said, I was leaning second worse live action show, but not all this hyperbole about it's "the worst scripted stupidity where the Jedi suck". To each their own. You're obviously not the only one who hates it.

Sorry Nick for having the sith's name in there. I edited it but see it's still in your quote of mine.

So you didn't actually watch? My favorite posts. "It's not exactly what I wanted so I won't watch". I like that the good guys aren't infallible and the bad guys aren't pure evil. It's what always kept me away from Marvel and DC even if it turns out that was more my thought than reality. I liked "edited to not have name" the new Sith's reasoning for being who he is. I know a lot of people don't like Disney's take on the Jedi, but it feels way more realistic to how groups that have been in power for a long time end up acting.

When they first said, "don't tell the council, the senate will find out", I thought they wanted to explain why Jedi council isn't in show. But once the episode ended I took it to be how they will explain TPM's reaction to Maul.

One thing in the Star Wars universe that I'm kind of tired of is cute droid sidekicks.

My daughter; lover of Lola, Chopper, and now Pip; would like a word with you. :P.  At least this droid side-kick isn't just an astromech and they tried to do something a little different.

I think I speak for many when I say I would have liked to have seen a lot more from that character before their untimely exit.

100% agree. Was really disappointed by how that whole sequence on Khofar played out.  And the cliffhanger ending was just mean.

How dare you share a non 50 year old white heterosexual male opinion about Star Wars.

This is just another weird conversation to me. My mortgage is paid just fine every month. It's still nice to have a general idea how many things are hitting at one time. So thank you Amazon for the updates even if I'm sure the date will change again.

And even if someone is living on a tighter budget, who cares what "enjoyment" things they choose to buy. Having specific release dates would be very helpful for them to not irresponsibly spend some month

Two episodes in, I won't be surprised if this turns out really good or really bad.

I'm excited. Bunch of Jedi. Different era. Not sure what not to be excited about.

I'm with Nick. This isn't about "one person wanting one figure". It's about not changing the standard for one person.

I don't actually think the Tonnikas will be a part of this. So this would then be a unnecessary discussion.

But to me it's too extreme. Of course this tactic has been used forever. But the long term collectors have clamored too long for these figs to have them a part of a $400 item.

Maybe there are other examples and because I either didn't care or bought the item, I'm being unreasonable.

Or maybe I'm over thinking what the Tonnikas mean to people.

Yes but I'm not a casual collector. I am clamoring for the Tonnika sisters. I don't want a playset for $400. It would be a dick move to then stick them in a set that costs $400 when they (not that they are gonna make them) finally do make them. All they are doing is annoying one of the people that still buys most of their product. One of the few people that doesn't think everything they do is already a dick move. I don't have to be on an extreme budget to not want the cantina.
