My kids have Disney Infinity 2.0 for the WiiU...  looks like I may have just received an excuse to buy Disney Infinity 3.0 for my PS3:   ::)

BOBA FETT JOINS DISNEY INFINITY 3.0

So that's...
$115 for starter pack
$13 each for Yoda, Maul, Han, Chewie, Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, Zeb
plus whatever the Force Awakens set/figure cost...
plus whatever it costs to get a DI 3.0 disc/download for the WiiU
plus whatever other surprise Star Wars figures they have planned for 3.0

oh, and the other 3.0 figures - Hulkbuster, Mulan, TRON Sam/Quorra...

You win this round Disney. #emptywallet  :-[

Has anyone gotten this release yet and started playing.  The boys were starting their Christmas lists and I was curious just how good it is.

I also noticed on Best Buy today that there are some Infinity 3.0 Expansion Packs.  I think they are still pre-order, but one pack looked like it was a cart-style racing game that utilized the Infinity characters.

My son got it for his birthday.  So far we have Ahsoka, Ben, Anakin, and Sabine.  All the characters are fun with new moves and loads of new playset options.  Our favorite is a random dispenser that gives out an enemy, new vehicle, landscape change, etc.  Also fun to see captain America battle Obi-Wan. Totally worth getting if you're a fan of the 2.0 stuff.
Climbed a mountain & never came back. I will not quit & I always fight back
From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

I have the twilight set and the Rise against the empire set. I love playing them-I'm still a big ole kid. Have Vader+tron characters and Ronin,Loki+ heros that came with the sets. I have alot of fun playing/ creating.

Just a few more days and Maul, Ultron, Hulkbuster release. Trying to build villains/fringe group. Excited about TFA set too.

Picked up the formerly PS4 bundle exclusive Boba Fett Infinity figure at Target yesterday.  Can't wait to fire this up with the kids on our Xbox this weekend.

My kids are crushed.  They love playing those games.  We still have our Wii hooked up so they can play the 1.0 version.  Thankfully all they still need is the Black Panther figure for 3.0 to have all of the characters, so it shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of.

The problem is they overproduced the figures and they didn't sell. A lot of the later waves never made it to stores. Sound familiar?

I picked this up at Christmas for the kids so haven't followed it closely for that long.  However I recently picked up a ton of version 2 figures on sale at Target and what I noticed is that the assortments at Target seemed to kind of suck.  Maybe it was just a warehouse clearance deal for 2.0 figures, but it was only a handful of different characters and some of them were pretty lame.  I went to a few different Targets hoping to find a different selection but they were all basically the same.  The kids and I ended up getting pretty frustrated because they wanted a few figures (Sully and Beymax) that just weren't available.  Maybe these came out years ago and are no longer available, but the kids got frustrated that they were shown on the cardback and not available.

Yeah, Target has been blowing out the 2.0 to make room for the newest 3.0 sets (Zootopia, Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, etc).

Sully was 1.0 and Baymax was 2.0 so low chance of finding them at Target these days.  Both of those are on Amazon though (Sully $8; Baymax $10-11 usually).

Amazon is where I've been getting a lot of our figures.  Pretty cheaply if you are patient.  Right now for example - Light-Up Saber Kylo Ren for $7.59 if you are a prime member.  I've picked up a lot of Infinity figures for the kids in the $6-8 range at Amazon.

Since Disney killed the Infinity line, we should start seeing close outs of these figures for pretty cheap.
