I agree on the lack of PT figures. I was also thinking the other day about how little repacks/rereleases we've gotten. Like, I'm surprised we never got some sort of exclusive Rey/Finn/Kylo box set, Luke/Vader/Palpatine, etc. Most figures are released, and if you don't get them, you're SOL.

If you don't count Yoda, Chewie, R2 and those characters that were in the PT and the OT, and don't count the five different flavors of generic rainbow clone troopers, there are five actual figures from these movies.  Obi-Wan, Anakin, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, and Commander Cody.

Well, you should probably include at least one Clone Trooper in your count.  There's the Order 66 4 pack of phase 2's, WM Red Shocktrooper, The Imperial 4 pack with clean white phase 2 and a yellow phase 1, the red Clone Captain, the green Sergeant, and a plain white phase 1.  That's 10 clones assuming I'm not missing any, which would put the prequel figures up at 15.  Still a small percentage overall and I agree that we could use some Padme in the lineup, but not sure there are a lot of others I really want.  Maybe a few Jedi aliens like Kit or Plo.  I'm planning to use the Disney Elite for my Grievous stand in and I never cared much for Qui-Gon or Jar Jar.  I did make a clone armor Kenobi kit-bash, but that's more Clone Wars than prequels really.

There do seem to be a fair number of troops from the PT, as well as some crossover characters.  This is the count I was able to come up with including the troopers:

-Darth Maul (TPM)
-Qui-Gon Jinn (TPM - PENDING)
-Clone Trooper (phase I - white)
-Clone Trooper (phase I - green/sergeant)
-Clone Trooper (phase I - red/captain)
-Clone Trooper (phase I - yellow/commander)
-Anakin Skywalker (ROTS)
-Obi-Wan Kenobi (ROTS)
-Clone Commander Cody
-Clone Trooper (phase II - white)
-Clone Trooper (phase II - orange markings/212th Attack battalion)
-Clone Trooper (phase II - blue markings/501st Legion)
-Clone Trooper (phase II - green markings/442nd Siege battalion)
-Shocktrooper (phase II - red markings)
-Clone Commander Gree (ROTS - pending)


I didn't include the WalMart Shocktrooper because that trooper is from the Imperial era, with an Imperial Stormtrooper helmet.

Nah, the really glaring omission IMO is the generic Battle Droid. 20 different clones and nothing for them to fight. That's a figure you could army build the hell out of too.

Surprised at that as well.  It would have to be a 2 pack though - a flimsy single is not worth $20 from me.

Bandai making some kind of army building battle droid set for the models...  might be an economical way to get some opposition.

That or a Super Battle Droid.  The standard Battle Droids always came across like they were cannon fodder.  But the Super Battle Droids seemed like a genuine threat, as did the Destroyer Droid.

So it sounds like once again, there will just be one wave of 6" figures out next week. I was hoping the Rey and Landspeeder sets would be released that day too, but that's not sounding likely now. 

Would love to know if the rumored TRU exclusive 6" ep viii 2-pack will be available next week, if anyone can confirm.

People seem to be finding the Rey speeder early, so maybe that will be out and about. I'm kind of ok with only one wave for six inch to start. That's a lot of stuff. There's actually quite a bit to choose from this time, compared to last. I'm trying to figure out my game plan. Kind of want everything.

I haven't been able to track down a Royal Guard.  Does anyone know if this is coming out in a future assortment?
