Hey Jesse, I'll keep an eye out for those figures for you. My Target has been restocking 7.5 a lot recently, and I'm still loking for Holo Vader, Naboo Soldier and a couple more Rebel Troopers but I'll be sure to keep you in mind if I find duplicates. I seem to have really good luck after school, so chances are I'll find something you need for you.

Just got back from TWBB.
This guy is one creepy son of a bitch.

So, what did you think of the movie? IT's looked pretty good from commercials/previews, and I'm interested in seeing it, but do you think someone my age would enjoy it? Please share your thoughts, thanks.

I'll add my vote to the Juno = great movie thing.

Anyway, caught Rambo today with my father. We both enjoyed it, but we couldn't compare it to anything as neither of us were really part of the target audiences for the first three films, and therefore did not see them.(I'm 16 and my dad is 60)

I hope to purchase a box set of the older Rambo movies from Super Target or Best Buy, just so my dad and I can spend some quality time together watching them. I've seen bits and pieces of them on TV, and they looked pretty good.

I'm in for three of these suckers... they look nice. Plus, I need some cheap Republic armor to blast my Spider Droids and AATs to bits.

CHEWIE- What types of paint schemes are you planning? Battle damage, light weathering, unit markings, or a little bit of everything? Please do share, as I'd love to imagine what your custom walkers could look like until your final product blows me away.

I bet the game was pushed back so the designers/game makers could work the codes in.

Still looking for Rebel Honor Guard helmets... donations would be super cool, but I'd be willing to trade what little fodder I have, and maybe pay for them.

Just thought I'd let you crazy completists know, if you skip on the straight repacks of figures/battle packs/vehicles, I won't think any less of you.

That being said, Pete, don't waist your $80 on those ships. Save it for new stuff later this year, or items that you'd like a lot more in your collection.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Questions for Hasbro?

Not a Star Wars question, but can you provide any details and/or pictures of the Cloverfield movie Monster toy that you have for pre-order on HasbroToyShop.com? Thanks for the help, and I cannot wait to see your 2008 offerings at Toy Fair next month.

I also caught Juno last weekend, and I thought it was a very well done film. Well worth the $$$, and I can't wait to pick it up on DVD.

This weekend I caught Cloverfield twice. First show, I was in heaven hell thru the whole film. I sat second row from the screen, so I felt like I was right in the city with those poor guys and gals... I feel like I got the experience the filmmakers intended to give the viewer and more. Awesome take on the Godzilla/ King Kong type movie, and I loved the look of the monster. Can't wait for pics of the toy.

Second viewing(two days later) was not quite as good. I sat farther back and felt more distanced from the events in the film. The movie seemed a lot shorter when it was over, so I think I should've spaced out the viewing more... maybe 1 or 2 weeks in between. Still a good film, but I'll probably pass on the DVD until it's cheap. I believe a lot of the fun would be lost on a TV. It just wouldn't feel like I (the viewer) was in NYC during a monster attack, so see this while it's in theatres.

Definately going to purchase this monster to decimate everything in my Star Wars collection.... no need to get a Rancor now.

The Wookiee Arcade / Re: Star Wars: Empire At War

I hate to bump an old thread, but I'm feeling the need to share this.
Anyway, Empire at War and Forces of Corruption had been starting to bore me, so I uninstalled them from my computer. This was probably back in September.

Well, last night I was on Google, looking for some images of the AT-TE. I stumbled upon a web site with a great mod for EAW:FOC. I think it's called Shadow of the Empire. To my knowledge, nothing is replaced. Stuff is only added to the game. The Empire is given ARC-170s, V-Wings, AT-AP walkers, AT-TEs, E-Web troopers, and a bunch of other stuff. The Rebel Alliance gets some new capital ships, but I haven't really played around with there side just yet. The Consortium gets a very nice smatter of CIS units, such as the Invisible hand and AATs. So far, the mod was well worth the download, has close to zero glitches, and overall refreshed my EAW game for the better.

I picked up a Hawkbat Clone at Target yesterday... pretty cool figure.

Darth Anton, if you're interested in selling that ARC-170 please LMK... I've been looking for one at a discount price.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: TRU "Hoth Patrol" Battle Pack
« on: January 18, 2008, 12:34 AM »
Damn... Toys R Us exclusive? That sucks for me... the closest TRU is about 30-40 minutes from my house. Would anyone here be interested in purchasing one of these sets for me, as well as 4 STAP Attack sets? (assuming those are TRU exclusives as well) If you're interested in helping out a fellow collector and making some extra cash for yourself, please PM me and we can work out payment info when these sets come out.
