And that is just one player on this collective (they can't be called a Team)

Well said.  I like how most of the Pre-Game experts picked them to win the Superbowl this year based mainly on how many pro-bowlers they had.  They play more like 11 individuals...not a team and that's why their record sucked (besides injuries).

And thanks to the media hounding Jerry Jones, he can't fire Wade Phillips now. Of course if Wade had any dignity he would resign.

Do you think Wade Phillips is actually the coach of the team?  Jerry Jones has been the coach since Jimmy Johnson left.

Brian, I think you hit the nail on the head with the lack of success of Prince Caspian, compared to The Lion, The Witch and the Wardobe is because they released it in summer as compared to Christmas.  Way too much competition with the summer blockbusters like Iron Man.

So if it's delayed, you're gonna hook us all up with copies, right?   ;)

Sure, if I want to lose my job and most likely face prosecution from Warner Brothers...   :-*

Don't worry Rob...we won't say it came from you.   ;)

If you're still having problems getting album artwork, one way to do it would be to find the album on Amazon, copy the picture then paste it into iTunes.  It could be a bit tedious, but it works.   :D

I'd say they both sold fairly well.  I think the AT-TE probably did better since I did see a couple of Falcons at Target just before Christmas and there were no AT-TE's in sight.  Not very scientific reasoning, but that's what I observed.

Chris,

I don't have a Playstation, but as far as the story goes, you will have a decision point towards the end of the game for light side or darkside.

My nephew got this game for the Wii and I played it a little....it's a lot of fun with the Wii controls, but I noticed some little differences in the levels and such.

I saw this thing last week and it was an easy pass.  What really bothered me about this pack was the crappy weapons.  What cheap ass plastic is Hasbro using for weapons these days?

The base with the sarlacc is cool and I wouldn't mind another skiff, but for what they're asking?  No thanks.

Cool Dale.  Thanks!

I remember someone saying they found a cheap way to replace the foam on the Dagobah playset.  It may have been over in the vintage forums on Scum....but I can't ask over there.  :-\

Vintage Kenner / Restoring Playsets and Vehicles

Hey Y'all,

I'm in the process of shipping out all my old vintage playsets and vehicles but after 20+ years in my parents' basement I've noticed a few problems:

-lots of dust in the corners and grooves
-the foam on the Dagobah and the Trash Compactor from the Death Star playsets have really deteriorated.
-The cardboard pieces of the Death Star walls are really frayed at the edges and would probably need replacing.

Anyone know of a cheap way I could replace the foam and cardboard cheaply?  I'd also like to print out hi res images instead of purchasing anything.  Also, what's a good cleaning technique?

Damn that Gants/Carolina game was amazing!  I heard the first half on WFAN in the rental car on thedrive from LaGuardia to my parents house (cussing most the way) and came out of my seat several times in the 4th quarter and overtime.

Although I'm a Giants fan through and through, I lived in NC when the Panthers started up and generally root for them.  I have a feeling that the Panthers might be going back to the Meadowlands this year.

I agree with IAS....it's a good story for its time, but it's not the best EU out there.

It's going to be a hectic day here today getting packed for our flight to NY tomorrow, and a busy week while we're visiting my family for Christmas, so I just wanted to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hanukkah depending on what you celebrate this time of year.  I hope you all get to spend some time with your families and everyone has a wonderful time.

Talk to y'all soon.  ;D
