The Vintage Collection / Re: Do You Collect/Display Vehicles?
« on: October 23, 2020, 02:12 PM »
All of my stuff is packed away, save the BMF. I also collect GI Joe and MOTU, so I have a ton of vehicles. Since space is kind of a problem, something like the Barge or Razor Crest are out of the question. Iíll say that, then buy the new Castle Grayskull next year... ::)

I like that theyíre releasing Grayskull in this line. Itíd be incomplete without it. I have a vintage, 200x, and was lucky enough to get a Classics version on sale, so Iím sure Iíll get this one.

Iíd love to see a Slime Pit in this line, but Mattel will have to release the Horde first.

And just now found Zodac and Mer-Man, which I guess makes up the next wave:

Really looking forward to Roboto. That was my favorite MOTU figure ever.  :)

Found some clearer images of the Deluxe figures coming next year:

I like the new He-Man headsculpt. The current Origins head leaves much to be desired.

Iím pretty hyped for the Land Shark. I had that one as a lad and loved it. Hearing Roboto and Ram Man are coming is great news. Iím also glad that this is expanding to all retailers next year because trying to hunt all this great stuff at Walmart only would be a nightmare.

Hit the jackpot this morning, scoring all six figures in the first wave.  ;D Found the Minis too, so I got He-Man, Skeletor, and the Slime Pit He-Man.

That is awesome Ben! Iíve been trying to use Brickseek to track these down, but I seem to keep missing them by just a bit. I did manage to get a Skeletor yesterday after work, so now I have Battle Cat and Skeletor. Hopefully they will continually be getting stock in. Nice score!

Thanks! These hit pretty hard here locally, so hopefully it goes the same everywhere.

I got them all opened and man, these are some really fun toys. I collected Classics heavily, but these are a different beast. Theyíre bright, colorful, and feel substantial in the hand, just like the original line. And they arenít $30 a piece like the Classics were.

Still empty pegs here, but the Star Wars pegs right next to the MOTU setup was bare too, so no surprise there. I did find a pretty good deal on He-Man and Skeletor on eBay, so those are on the way. I probably wouldnít have caved if there wasnít a pandemic on.  :P

Yup, I was able to buy them. I havenít found any single figures yet, but I keep looking. Well, I keep checking Brickseek anyway. Trying to hunt toys during this time isnít very easy.  :P
