The jungle Duke from POC is pretty badass.

I was just glad to get a Slipstream since I never picked up the Conquest X-30.  He's the only Joe from Utah, you know (which explains the pedophile mustache).

I wish they made him (and Tripwire, for that matter) with removable helmets.  And as a further digression, I wish they made Mainframe/Dataframe with a better head, if not a removable hat thingy or whatever he's wearing.

No new Sand Serpents, but I found some weird Target exclusives at Ross:  A Jungle Terror Twin Battle Gun with Range Viper, black and red Cobra Flight Pod with Elite Viper, brown Ram Cycle with Sandstorm, and my favorite, the Air Assault Glider with Capt. Ace (really Slipstream).

I totally agree.  I am way more excited for Joe stuff than I am Star Wars.

Yes, that's the company.  I've thought of getting the F-22 to convert into a Skystriker, but now Hasbro's saved me the trouble.

I have the Blackhawk from the line, it's decent.  I hate myself for passing on the A10, though.

Word is Zarana is a SDCC exclusive.  ::)

Renegades Firefly was shown, but having a hard time accessing the picture. Snake-Eyes was too, but haven't seen it yet.

Some 30th anniversary figure pics were released.

Is the Han jacket a separate piece or is it sculpted to the torso?

While we're all waiting for Jeff and Rob's socks to dry, there are some pretty good pictures in the official site slideshow page.

True Heroes or whatever the cheapo 1:18 line is at Toys R Us has a cool Apache that I've never seen before.  It's molded in black and the cockpit seats two.  I picked it up to doctor into a 25th style GI Joe Dragonfly.

That would be the only way to undo the horror of Fergie singing ruining Sweet Child O' Mine.

My wave 4 arrived yesterday and I found a new Snake Eyes and two Shock Troopers today, so I'm stocked up.

eFranks is right on.  When i first opened Low Light, I thought, "Aw, these accessories aren't so bad," and then I dropped the bullet and spent the next half hour combing the carpet looking for it.

It's a pretty petty gripe, though, to have too many accessories with too much detail.  The figures are phenomenal, and for my money, I'd say the POC line is the best thing going, action figure wise.  The detail, accessories, and articulation are unbelievable.

Low Light and Shadow Tracker have a bit of Recondo neck going on, as well.  But again, that's just me being bitchy.  All of these figures are incredible.

Can somebody fill me in on the IDW Continuity?  Which series connects the old Marvel/Larry Hama comics?  And all the Chuckles side stories and Origins, and other titles fit in with the Chuck Dixon/M.A.S.S. Device storyline?

Me is so confused.

The Ross by me has 5 Sand Serpents.  I'm happy to pick one up if you need.

HTS has wave 4 up for pre-order.  I will hold out for now though - will wait for more things for other lines because I am confident I will have no problem finding these at retail.

Thanks for the tip.  With all the gas I've used driving around looking in vain for Wave 3 Snake Eyes, I figured what the hell and ordered Wave 4.  I'm sure I'll come out ahead in the long run.

While there are themes of good vs. evil and archetypal protagonists, those are hardly unique to Christianity.  Go read some Joseph Campbell. ;)
