Other Collectibles / Re: Star Wars Posters
« on: February 7, 2007, 04:06 PM »
Not sure if anyone can help me with this but -- I'm trying to find a way to frame a picture of the twin suns of Tatooine -- not Luke looking out at them, just the one shot in Episode 4 of the actual twin sunset.  Anyone know how I could get an image in a high-enough resolution so I can blow it up to poster size for framing?

Thanks in advance!

-Steve

Gervais is still doing them, and they are still great.  He's done two series since the original one.  They're only like 80 cents each if you buy a season pass of 6, so totally worth the money, for me at least.

Rebelscum DVD rumor:

Target Star Wars Boxed Set Coming Next Week?

We've gotten words from our spies of a new item coming from Target later this month. Collecting the newly-released DVDs into a single set, this is said to be for sale at $32.99 regularly priced at $39.99. Look for a scan of the ad soon, but chalk this up as a rumor for now.

No e-mail for me either...

If anyone scores a Shocktrooper and doesn't want the Bust-Up, let me know!

Thanks!

Yeah, I sorta wish Hasbro would end it already.  I'm buying less and less, and there are a couple characters I'd still like to see made, but I'm over the hunting and searching and...caring...all that much.  I pretty much order everything online these days, and just buy the 1-2 new figures/wave.  Gentle Giant has been getting most of my money, and probably will continue to.

Picked up a Mace Saber today at Costco for $49.97.  Might be worth checking out.  They were with the toys.

Oy.  Wish I'd caught this last week.  I'm gonna have to zip up the street to see if there's any left at our Costco.  Thanks for the tip Jay.

I'm brainfarting on this, but has MR announced a FX Qui-Gon, or was it only the regular hilt, and (rumored) mini that they mentioned were coming?  I think that was it, and the FX ain't happenin' still...

Matt -- let me know if your Costco has any.  I've been meaning to check up in the valley.  The one by me -- in Marina Del Rey -- didn't have any...

The Transpod also powers the iPod, so no worries on power drain...

I've got the TRANSPOD by DLO.  Works really, really well...highly recommended.  Works with Nanos or iPod Videos.
