The field has been set, so it's time for the obligiatory online Star Wars Fans Hoops Bracket. I've just set one up on Yahoo, so for those interested here's the info:

I'm in :)

Not too bad so far. I knew I should of picked Texas A&M and skipped over Nevada. I hope OSU loses...that's my only wish for this tourney. ;)

F*CK YOU, IOWA! I would've been 4 for 4 in the early games if these b*stards could simply hold onto a 17-point lead with 8 and a half minutes left. Dammit.

This ain't Rebelscum--we can say "****" and "bastards" here.
And "****balls"--we can say "****balls," too.

Tell me about it! We are known for losing games in the final minutes....happens all the time!

i don't follow college ball too much, but i was pleasantly surprised to see the shockers win.

I graduated from a college in the Missouri Valley Conference. I loved seeing Wichita State and Bradley advance to the Sweet 16. It was even sweeter since Billy Packer and Jim Nantz had such a hissy fit when 4 Valley teams made it and they just "could not understand it." Same goes for Digger Phelps. LOL!
It reminded me of last year when they described the Big Ten conference as weak overall yet they put 2 teams in the Final Four and 1 in the title game. I think they had at least 3 teams in the Elite 8 and Ohio State was banned from postseason play last year. Of course this year was different and they said how great the Big Ten was and then they don't put anyone past the 2nd round. Ha-ha!
Announcers and experts. You gotta love it when they are wrong :)

What an amazing night of basketball last night. It began with Duke getting knocked out of the tournament--though that hurt my office pool, being a die-hard Tar Heels fan, I was ecstatic to see it--and ended with two buzzer beaters. All I can say is ... wow!

I graduated from UF and loved seeing the Gators advance to the Final Four! ;D
By the way, on ESPN.com out of over 1.5 million brackets, only four people have it right up to this point. :o
-
Our local paper said that there were over 3 million brackets at ESPN.com, and not a single one got the entire Sweet 16 correct. That's just crazy.
-
Looks like it was 1.5 million people, 3 million entries, and 4 correct down to this point.

My office pool is already over. Everyone either had Duke, UConn or BC winning. Only one person can score more points and even if he wins that game, the best he can get is a tie for 4th place (he has UCLA going to the final game but losing to UConn). Very undramatic pool this year. Hopefully next year, it's not over by the Final Four.

Ah ... I see. Well, the part about the Sweet 16 is still true. You could accurately predict who made the Final Four without getting the entire Sweet 16 correct.
I'm just waiting for the day when someone picks a perfect bracket. It'll never happen, but it would be nice to see.

Well I know not many people around here care, but It's Great, to be, a Florida Gator. ;D
