This was a pretty cool item for SW Weekends! Although they are limited for the event, I am hearing that Jedi Mickey will return as a regular Star Tours item?(of course without the SWW markings)
Jedi Mickey sold for $12, and was sold out by week #3.

He is a cute little bugger, isn't he Sharon... ;) If it hits the regular Star Traders shop at Disneyland, I'll definitely check him out and maybe pick one up. Unfortunately for most people, they're going for anywhere from $20 - $35 on eBay right now. Ugh.
And let's not forget the real Jedi Mickey:

got one of these today from a buddy of mine who went to sw weekends the first weekend. of course, i had to sit through over 600 pictures of his trip before he would give it to me ::)
but he took alot of pics at the park on the day he went, and alot of pics of the people in costume. most of the costumes were pretty good.
-
I love this plush. It's the best Disney exclusive ever. I don't like the pins, and I never got into Star Tours figures. I plan on picking one of these guys up. I hope to find one without a curved lightsaber though.
-

Saw a couple reports on the net last week, and it looks like Sharon is right on here, that Jedi Mickey should indeed be making a comeback next month some time at the Disney parks. Might have to pick one up... 8)
-
My mother went to Disney like a week or 2 after the event and tried to get me one, but they were all gone. I am going to try and pick on up if they really are released again.
-
That's actually pretty cool.
-
;D I will be glad to see the Jedi Mickey plush become a regular item at Disney. For as popular as it was at SWW, it was surprising to see them limit it. (But they do this on purpose, I think...)
I will have to start checking Tatooine Traders, I would imagine they will show up about the same time as the wave 4 Star Tour figures.
-

Yeah, like I'm really looking forward to that! :P
You, Karen, and I are gonna have our work cut out for us come next month some time... ;)
Still haven't decided if I'm picking up this Jedi Mickey, but I'm sure I'll probably cave when I see it. Cute little bugger!
Think they'll ever do a Princess Leia Minny to go with him? Then a Han Solo Donald Duck... A Goofy as Chewbacca... Pluto as R2? 8)

Geez, Matt!! Don't give Disney any ideas!!! :-X The Jedi Mickey is also a great baby shower gift for those SW buddies that are expecting little Padawans...
Hopefully, this will be the last wave of ST figs. I put boxes and packing material aside for my next tour of duty. There are members that really appreciate our help, so it is worth the extra work most of the time. It has been great to go out to Disney more often, I have enjoyed being an annual pass holder. (plus, Once Upon a Toy ROCKS!)

I wonder who they are...?
8)
I think you all are most excellent for helping out us poor midwestern shlubs with these cool Disney exclusives...
;D

I just got one of these in the mail that I got off of eBay. A really nice addition to my collection. I hope to add the Vader Mickey too.
-
What'd it run you Matt? Haven't checked on them in a while, and it looks like Disneyland out here's never going to get them (only DisneyWorld in FL), so I may go looking around soon for one. Especially now that there's a matching Vader Mickey to go with him... 8)
Sharon, any more of these guys floating around out there?

I WISH! Never heard anything else about them at Disney. Ebay auctions are outrageous. :o
If I ever see Jedi Mickey again, I am buying a BUNCH of them. Lots of collector friends looking for this little fella.
-
JediMac, I got caught up in a bidding war for it and I got it for about $120! :o
It's in great shape and I love rare unique things like this in my collection, but if I had seen more of him on eBay, I probably would've let it go and tried for another! :-\
-
Looks like people are already trying to cash in on the Vader Mickey.

Don't do it! Help will be in the forums! ;)
-
I wasn't planning on it. Someone over at RS said they were going to try and get me one.
I just thought it was kind of odd that they're showing up already on ebay.

Ah, I THOUGHT Your name looked familiar, Mr Fury. 8)
LOTS of eBay sellers frequent Disney, the auctions are probably pre sells.
I don't like to offer much help at RS, just because I get swamped with requests. There are so many friends at GH, JD & TF, I have to work hard to keep up with demand. ;D
When the time comes, I will do my best to help as many good traders as I can. Not sure if I will report SW Weekends again this year, but will be there every week for merchandise.
-
Anyone know the retail on these things? Ebay prices are high IMO. Also, are they only showing up at the parks or at Disney stores ???
-
The regular price for these plush bean bag toys is usually $12-$15. As far as the availability? I'm pretty sure they're only available at the parks for SW Weekends.
-
Is this Mickey only available during SW Weekends. My parents are going to Disney at the end of this month (April). I was going to have them be on the lookout for it.
-
So far, they have been event exclusive merchandise. SW Weekends only.
-
I know I thanked you in PM over at RS Sharon, but thanks again for trying to get me one of those Vader Mickey's!
I saw this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6526978712&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1) auction on eBay....at first I kinda freaked out at the ending price, but I guess it's not too bad since the proceeds are going to a worthy charity.
-
Damn, I really need to get one of these Vader Mickeys, but it doesn't look good :'(
Maybe they will put another one out in the stores at the park after the SW Weekends are over, without the stiching on the feet (like they did with the Jedi Mickey from last year??)
-
I thought you could call the Disney stores and have items shipped? I swear someone did that before....not 100% sure though.
-
The Jedi Mickey was rumored to have a non-Star Wars Weeknds version released, but that never happened.
I've never tried to order stuff through the Disney Store before Beth. Anyone know about this?
-
Disney doesn't do mail order for event merchandise.
I would sit tight for the Jedi Mickey plush rehash. Don't forget, Star Tous is getting remodeled. (Disney knows merchandise.) ;) It hasn't been done yet, but they know how popular they are. If you go over to the Indy show at MGM, there are at least 6 or 7 Indiana Jones themed Disney plushes. Surely they will work SW for what they can.
Also, I did not see any mention of the Vader Mickey's being limited this time. Stay the course, be patient.
-
Looks like there WILL be a Jedi Mickey plush 2.0(no stitching on the foot. ;D Patience, folks!

The Vader Mickey (http://www.register123.com/event/profile/web/index.cfm?PKwebID=0x234099042) is now up for order from Disney! It's limited to June 12 and will arrive late September or early October.
I couldn't resist - The Dark Mouse of the Sith had to be mine! ;)
-
If you want one of these, it looks as if Disney extended the deadline until June 26th. I suggest ordering one, they are not available at the park. Sold out the first weekend.
It took me 5 hours the first day of the event to get in the store. >:(
Madness! Unfortunately, I was not able to grab extras. :'(

I managed to grab one off of ebay for not too bad a price.
It's a pretty cool piece in the collection and looks nice next to the Jedi Mickey. :)
-
Looks like this year they're doing a plush Goofy Darth Vader beanie. I'm curious to see how it looks.
-

-
Here is something I grabbed at SW Weekends today:(http://www.tradefederation.net/cldata/User_files/44779fe911d82f8d.jpg)
A very cool set of mini bobble heads! They were $20.
-
I managed to score one of the Darth Goofy beanies from ebay and it looks really good next to the rest of them. I do like that they are in some sort of scale....the Darth Goofy is quite a bit taller than the two previous Mickey beanies they've made.
-
I thought I would bump up this topic since there are some articles about Star Wars weekends out now.
These bean-bag figures have been quite popular the past few years so I think it's a safe assumption that they will make another. The question is, what will it be?
I'm thinking that it will be a Minnie Mouse Princess Leia.
-
I'm thinking that it will be a Minnie Mouse Princess Leia.
That would be great! If that happens, I'll definitely need 2 because my daughter would love one. ;)
-
Oh-I'd have to get that as I have Mickey as Luke!!
-
When did they make a Mickey Luke Skywalker?
-
Oh-I'd have to get that as I have Mickey as Luke!!
I hope you are refering to the Jedi Mickey that came out in 2004 and was re-released in 2005. I would hate to have missed out on a different one.
-
I'm pretty sure that's what she meant (forgive me if I'm speaking improperly for you Beth).
-
That's what I meant-I just call it Luke - sorry!!! :-[
-
No need to apologize. I was just worried I missed out on a plush. :)
-
That's cool Beth...kinda shocked me though because i thought I was missing one for a bit. I always thought it was an Obi-wan outfit mainly because I have an Obi-wan focus in my collection.
I hope they don't do another Vader figure....I liked the vader figures, but there are so many characters they could do:
-Minnie Mouse/Leia
-Piglet/C-3PO
-Tigger/Han Solo
-Donald Duck/Lando
I could go on forever. :D
-
There's a TON more stuff up now... Pins galore, but posters and other stuff too by the truckload.
-
Yikes!
I better update my trade list! 8)
C4 and then SWW. I'm sure going to be broke in June. :P

These are a must have! They'll be great additions to Darth Mickey, Jedi Mickey and Darth Goofy. :D
-
Have they posted pics of the official poster for this year?
-
(http://www.starwars.com/collecting/news/misc/20070509_picview/img/1.jpg)
-
I must have those Plush collectables!
-
(http://www.starwars.com/collecting/news/misc/20070509_picview/img/4.jpg)
Just added these to my growing collection of Disney Star Wars Items. ;D
-
How did you get them? Did you go to Disneyland or is there another way?
-
I went through ebay...shopping around I didn't pay much over "retail" for them.
-
ok-thanks, I'll have to roam over there and see what I can find.
-

Just added these to my growing collection of Disney Star Wars Items. ;D
That's kind of creepily incestual isn't it? :P
Has anyone heard anything else about the Muppet/Star Wars items yet?
-
I've got a lot of eBay shopping to do, including the Plush Minnie and Mickey, Plush Vader (and maybe Yoda too),
5 new Mr Potato Heads, toddler squeeze toys, and action figures.
edit - Here's a pretty good price for the Plushes - $25.99 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Weekends-weekend-plush-dolls-Mickey-Leia-Luke_W0QQitemZ180135794806QQihZ008QQcategoryZ154QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).
- I was getting a little ahead of myself. The Potato Heads aren't due out until later this year, the toddler squeeze toys are coming in 2008, and the action figures I'm still unsure about (which would make all of these Disney exclusives, but not Weekends exclusives).
- here's the action figures:
Series 1
Mickey Mouse as Luke Skywalker
Minnie Mouse as Princess Leia
Donald Duck as Han Solo
Goofy as Darth Vader
Stitch as Emperor
Series 2
Donald Duck as Darth Maul
Goofy as Jar Jar
Minnie as Queen Amidala
Chip and Dale as ???.
-
Dont forget the muppet characters as star wars figures as well.
