No, not the smarmy JD staff member / FFURG representative that we all know and love. I'm talking about the pornstar, who's picture I will not post.

I opened my office door after my lunchtime nap, and was bombarded with the stench of cheap perfume. It was then that I noticed two ladies standing out in the hallway and I was introduced to Jessie James (who I wouldn't have recognized if you paid me, which I guess they do). Not one of my slickest moments, I shook the hand of her assistant/manager before realizing that she was the other girl.

Meh...oh well.  :-\

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Working with Styrene Sheets

This is a question for those of you that have worked with Styrene before. I'm trying to come up with a good method for making a carbon freeze chamber deck pattern, and I'm thinking thin sheet styrene might be the way to go. I'd really only need it for the pattern (which I would cut very painstakingly :-\ ). After that, I plan to spray it and paint it, then glue it to a circle of plexiglass to give it support and allow the orange light to shine through.

My question is whether this is feasible. You all know what the carbon freeze chamber deck looks like. Would I be able to cut that pattern without ******* the thing up completely? what thickness should I be looking for, etc?

This is for all of us who are going to be playing on PS2 (hopefully not just myself) to touch base and possibly join forces. I know that my two good friends who I play SOCOM with are going to be buying this game, so we'll probably be forming a clan (if clans are supported).

Right now I'll probably use my standard SW game name, that I've used since the RPG back in the day...Barak Dreen. Either that, or I might use LandotheScoundrel, though sometimes the long names get in the way of gameplay.

So who's going to be playing on PS2?

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Need help from 21st century collectors...

For all you guys who collect(ed) the 21st Century figures, were there any figures of sleeveless or shirtless black guys from the Vietnam set? I'm looking to do a few customs of Jabba's guards, and I can't think of any good body parts to use.

I'm also interested in Vietcong that have removeable helmets, since there's at least one asian guard in Jabba's Palace. And of course, If any of you can think of parts that would be good to use other than these, please let me know.

Anybody? Or should I say, any body?

I was just reading the cardbacks for the OTC figures over at GH, and I noticed something very interesting. There is no mention of Luke being Vader's son anywhere on these cards. Even the final duel Vader makes no mention of it. Is there some sort of non-spoiler policy for the 5 or so people that don't know about Luke and Vader? Will these hypothetical people be surprised when and if they buy the trilogy on dvd this fall?

I do think its kind of cool, in a retro way...  ;D

How much do you pay monthly, and where do you live?

My girlfriend and I each pay $590/month. We have a huge 3 bedroom apartment with a front and back balcony, so its not such a bad deal (for NYC). Our roommate is moving out at the end of the month, so the whole place will be ours, but we'll have to split the rent...$875 each!  :o

I wouldn't mind if I were paying a mortgage, because at least then its an investment. Paying rent is like flushing money down the toilet.  :'(
