Jayson's rumor report for the livestream -

"For preorders, by my count, we should see about 12 mainline and fan channel items split evenly between the Vintage Collection and Black Series lines. There may be a couple retailer exclusives as well that may or may not throw off that balance."

I'm still debating which way to go with this.  If it were 3.75" I would get enough to fill out the band, but with 6" I'm not sure I'm going to get more than one Figrin and one Nalan.  Getting six will be expensive and take a lot of room.

You're going to need three of each of the Cantina band member to make the band.

Preorders will be limited to two.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Which will be the smart way to go, right? [/s]

I was wondering about getting multiple band members.  The question I have is about the interchangeable hands.  Can you interchange the deluxe figure's hands with those of the Figrin D'an figure?  Because if you want to build out the Modal Nodes with 6 of the Bith musicians, that might be more economical.

People are going to buy multiples of these just for there to be a boxed set of the whole band in 9 months or so.
This is the way.

As I’ve been paring down and selling off things the past few years, I’ve come to the decision - with space issues - that I’m keeping extras/army building buying to 3 3/4” only. I just don’t have the room aside from just packing them away. So if I grab these, it will likely only be one of each as well unless something drastically changes budget or space wise.

None of this interested me in the least bit. I got a little excited as they were revealing the Retro 6-pack box set in the hopes that they were actually about to reveal 2 of them with the other 6 from the original 12 in the other one, but no dice. They kept saying all the original figures, but I guess they just meant all of the Wave 1 of Retro...

And look at that, a package with no plastic on it at all, yet contains several figures on cards with bubbles as the product. I bet this is how the ROTJ wave drops next year, too!

All of it looked cool.  And I really liked the attention to detail on the Modal Nodes.

All of that being said?  I am not preordering ANY of the Black Series items that were revealed today.  It's just where I am with the Black Series.  And I have personal animosity about that Ewok village Leia.  Back in the POTF2 days that 3.75" Ewok village Leia was one of the biggest pegwarmers.  That figure sat for YEARS!  I think it was released in 1998, and you could still find them on pegs 3 or 4 years later.

I thought that was a little ironic too.  I thought that was going to be the beginning of them talking about no plastic, but nope, just a windowless box with the plastic bubbles on the inside.
