4 now, but I would sure love to find some on clearance. Most of the Wal Marts I stop at never even had shelf space for the VTSC, or I probably would have at least a couple more.

I am eagerly awaiting the 400% Vader and wave 7. The biker on bike and blackhole stormtrooper are icing on a sweeeeet cake. The Hasbro naboo wave bores the hell out of me, and a bunch of repaints with the # 30 on them aren't very exciting either. Kubricks and some gentle giant stuff seem to be where I'm headed-

I'm hoping for Tarkin in my case as well, but there is a good chance their prices will be very similar anyhow for whichever one I have to buy. I suppose I could get super lucky, since I am getting one extra box of 12 from Jeff as well. But he is justifiably occupied at the moment, so I will have to be patient.

I would check your box first- I was very pleasantly surprised when buying a single box of series 4 from Toynk.com. I bought it for the extra stormtroopers, and hit two Luke stormies. Of course, I had already plopped down the cash for the chases on the bay, and now I hang on to these as trade bait.

I picked this ship up in a minnesota Target today- and it does show a Mace in the cockpit on the back graphics with a pilot head-gear set up. It just doesn't come with the ship. Maybe it is on its' way...
It is now the official Jedi Starfighter of the Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately, the ship has about the same odds of winning the superbowl as the team.

I'm getting my first master case this time around, for $300.00. The way I look at it, I will keep two sets, sell two sets for about 45 each, an extra 1:24 chase will sell for 25-30, and 4 extra lukes will get me an extra 20. that means I will recover about 140.00, meaning I spent 160 for a 1:96 chase, a 1:24 chase, two full sets, plus a bunch of army builders (I likes me them imperials). Of course this is all theory for me at this time, but Kubrick prices are among the most stable out there for star wars collectibles.

It's amazing how much better that OTC sculpt is. I was moving the troops around the other day, and it just stood out and made the others look like junk.
I was convinced we wouldn't see this ship again for a long time, so I grabbed two to flank Darth's TIE. I don't think the new color will be that big of an improvement, I hate to think about dropping another 80 bucks just to upgrade the paint.
