Has anyone heard about the possibility of a 3 3/4 Republic Attack Shuttle? I know there is one for Lego that looks pretty nifty. It seems like they could make one out of an Imperial shuttle. Remove the top fin, make a new cockpit and maybe mod up the bottom for more a cargo hold and that would be awesome. Any thoughts?

If they do make one they need to start from scratch and not "get by" by going the kitbash route.

I think this vehicle would have to be in the show A LOT before they consider it.
Afterall, look how much the Twilight is in the show and they are still reluctant to make that.
-
The Nu class shuttle would be welcome in my book. But I think I'd like to see the Twilight made first. It was featured again in this week's episode.
If anything, I think Hasbro wants to see how the Clone War line continues to perform. Especially in light of Lucasfilm saying that the series is scheduled to run 100 episodes. That could last either 4 or 5 seasons depending on how many shows they run per season.

Agreed. If they're going to make a large vehicle from the Clone Wars, the Twilight should come first.

That seems a lot more likely to me too, though who knows...

I think they're playing coy on the Twilight.

me too, just like they tried to with the Falcon and AT-TE.
If I had to predict the next big ship I am saying it right here and now that it will be shown or at least talked about at ToyFair 09.
I'd prefer to have the Nu class attack shuttle first, but that's me and I'm a trooper hound. The Twilight is okay, but I'm not pressing to get it.

The Nu class shuttle needs to get some more serious screen time and/or interaction with the main characters in order to justify the toy. So far I think we've seen Ahsoka get ferried in one, the Clone Scouts travel in another, and Cody and Rex fly one during the "Rookies" episode.
I totally think it's a very cool design. It blends together the Imperial shuttle concept with the Republic Gunship. And it seems like it's a ship that can fight. It would probably make an awesome toy. I think it just needs more screen time first.
And I hope you're right, Piet, and Hasbro is playing coy about the Twilight.

I'd rather have the armed Neimoidian Shuttle that Anakin and Obi-Wan used in Dooku Captured. :P

I'd rather have a Tantiv IV scaled 2x the size of the Falcon, but I don't think it's gonna happen. ;)

Then Hasbro would have to redo the RFT for Jesse, and they've made it clear they won't do that; just to spite him.

On the contrary, they could release this in conjunction with a 4 figure Battle Pack of Rebel Fleet Troopers all with the same sculpt, but 4 new head molds. You heard it here first!

Or they could do an all-new ultimate RFT, the perfect trooper, and release it ONLY in a giant Tantive IV, vowing never to ever use the figure again in any way.
Yes, it could happen... >:(

One figure packed per $200 ship, right?

Yup.
The ultimately screwjob.
