Is Vader really the fighter? :P
Interesting find there Jared. No idea if that's a new, upcoming item, or the really old one just still in their computers (which I'd highly doubt). I think a vaguely recall rumors of a new Vader Tie, so perhaps this is it. It sounds like there were going to be a few ANH ship releases to coincide with the OT being released on DVD this fall, so perhaps that's what's happening here.
I thought the stronger rumors pointed toward just a new generic Tie Fighter though, so maybe the "Vader" label just isn't quite right there... Since Vader's previous POTF2 Tie was an all new mold, I was/am pretty happy with it, so a rehash of it at this point isn't really much of a necessity IMO. We'll definitely keep an eye on it though!
EDIT: Oops, I missed the exclusive part there. Even more interesting now, and definitely something "new", I'd imagine. I'd guess it's probably just the original POTF2 Vader Tie, with the Gunner station Vader, in a nice, purty window box. That's my guess! ;)

When the original mock-up shots of the Red Leader were dug up by Scott I believe, wasn't there also a mock-up of a Vader TIE Fighter boxed set?
I could be wrong... Maybe Scott can chime in since he has a better memory on stuff like that. :)

Lord Pickles has reminded me (over at RS, of course) of the likely inclusion of a battle damaged wing this time. I'd say he's probably correct!

There were rumors floating around of new vintage-esque packaging for things for later this year, wonder if this might be one of those? The listing is pretty new, I think. I browse Amazon's SW listings every week, just in case, well, I don't know why. Its really a sloppy listing they put up. We'll see what comes of it.
I like the notion of a battle-damage wing. That would be cool.

I wouldn't doubt that this, and Red LEader were some of those repacked items... Repacking vehicles is dangerous territory given the way higher priced items back up quick. Hmmmm... :(
The figures, if kept to a minimum in shipping, tend to move... Ships though, I dunno.

Anything Vader related is good to have.
