Does anyone understand the TRU pricing logic?  Offer the figs for $7 when they're hot and people would have paid whatever for them, but now that the excitement has died down, they restock, raise the prices to $8 and ditch the free Grievous offer.  Seems like a good way to make less profit in the beginning and next to no sales from here on out.  ???
and what funny is they have the TAC Legends figures for 6.99 still..the same ones repacked for the Saga legends line

Hey good news! Went to my local Target and they slashed their prices on TLC and CWC to $6.99. Bad News TRUS raised their prices on the same figures to $7.99.  I was going to talk to the manager and let her know that Wal Marts was kicking their ass in the price wars. I refuse to buy a $7.99 figure..not going to happen.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Who Is Not Buying?
« on: July 27, 2008, 10:17 AM »
I didn't buy, despite a slight urge to do so, and kudos to me...  :)

I'll have the AT-TE Clone (anyone want to buy another?) and Captain Rex mail-in, and I'm happy at that.

Now...  when IG-88 and Plo Koon show up, I must admit I'll buy both just for parts, and because 88 is such a cool looking design and almost a "new" unique droid in my eyes.

That's it though.  :)  I passed through CW release without buying up animated figures.  I feel good on that.

I'm right there with you it was nt even that difficult.

I just said  "NO" today  ;D I bought NOTHING! lol!  I did talk to people that were spending 300-400 worth of stuff.  I felt great to be just a window shopper for once. I just was not that impressed with what I saw, the BMF is cool but for 150 it better be..

Well the boat scene at the end was much like the SAW movies ( not the blood and guts) but the same concept kill someone to save your own life type of mind ****.  I think the movie had a lot of moments here and that were meant to be tributes to other movies.

I want to see Catwoman..I really think that is why Rachael went by the waste side...the Joker and Catwoman are the two villians that most get into Batmans head.

what I liked the most about this movie is that "Gotham"was an actual real city. I know in BB they tried to make Gotham a real city, but it still looked comic bookish in certain parts like the last action sequence.  As far as my choice for Villian, Mr.Freeze might not be a bad choice with the right actor and story. I know they had their heart set on part 3 being the trial of the Joker, I just do not know who could fill the role now....
I also thought that line of the Joker at the end when he said something about them going at it for a long time to come.. )=

I thought the hospital scene was paying tribute to Nurse Rachet from "One that flew over the Cockos Nest" the movie had a lot of little things here and there like when he said to Batman " you complete me" LOL

I an idea about the 3rd movie but it includes spoliers...

Ok we knew who "dies" and with this person death.. it brings two options..

It opens Bruce up to a new romance which could mean the CatWoman might be in part 3..or it could mean that the person that "died" comes back as Catwoman.

Spolier! Re:Roton7 post

The plot was outlined by the Joker in the last scene.  The plot was that  the Joker was this petty 2nd level criminal until he realizes that he can become a top level criminal by using Batman to elevate him to that position.  His madness was about turing people like Batman and Harvey into a "freak" like him, and Batman unlike Harvery did not fall into his trap.  Each of the Jokers plans uped the anity and each was intended to bring Batman in closer and closer. Thats my take, and Im glad we did not spend half of the movie replaying why or how the Joker became the Joker and I think that scene in the Jail where the are talking about how the Joker was a total blank slate, use your imigination as to why he became the Joker, he gave us several good reasons.

Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart it should not be a surprise when you walk into the store.  Some stores are better then others, all I have to say its I would rather shop at Wa;-mart then Kmart and would shop at Target over bothof them.   K-mart is just HORRIBLE its like walking into a 3rd world country.  You have the locals that hang out in the food court day after day, the employess that can not understand English, and just the JUNK!

If target wanted to do a promos like this here is what they should have did instead of doing this internet/email thing which is just like low hangen fruit for people that would take advantage of something like this.  They should have radomley picked stores throught the chain and have someone at the door handing out coupons like this, kind of like they do at Disneyland with their "dream teams" that hand out goodies at the theme parks.

I read that they are leaning towards the "Riddler"

I hope not. I never liked the Riddler as a villain, he's too similar to the Joker for me.

who out of Hollywiers current hotties would make a Great Catwoman? Megan Fox? Hmmmm

Halle Berry? I for one think she'd make a great Catwoman.
Ummm I think she did play the Catwoman in that horrible movie ( not surprised you missed most people did )
what about Mr.Freeze?

Even though this movie is not even out yet, who should be the villian for the next?
I read that the Joker was going to be in the next one also, well I wounder who would step into the role now if they go down that road?

I would hope they would consider Catwoman.. who out of Hollywiers current hotties would make a Great Catwoman? Megan Fox? Hmmmm
