Punch Out is awesome, it really is.  I kept trying to figure out my left elbow was hurting this afternoon and then I started playing again tonight...too much punching  :-X

I can't wait to fight Super Macho Man...and then box him later :o

I've read that the game is more fun and accurate if you use the traditional controller (not the motion controlled one).

What are your thoughts?

I haven't tried it yet...I've gotten the hang of it with the nunchuck and wiimote.  Great Tiger continues to kick my sorry ass :-[

Sounds like a Nintendo has announced New Super Mario Bros. Wii, coming holiday time this year.  Sounds kind of nifty.

So, has anyone picked up (or planning to) the New Super Mario Bros. for Wii game this week?  I'm kind of excited to get it eventually, but for now it is going to have to just go on the Christmas list.  Looks like fun, and I really enjoy anything that harkens back to the original "ye olde Nintendo".

My kids are very excited for it.  I think this is one that I could play with them.  I remeber years ago leaving my NES in the power on state for an entire month while we played through Super Mario Brothers.  We just unhooked the video signal from the TV.

Having said that, we are making the kids wait until Christmas to get it!!

Apparently Super Mario Kart was added to the Virtual Console today. With that and the Super Star Wars series on there, I need to buy me some Wii points!

I'd like to see the Super Star Wars series released on the DS. All three on one cart.

I picked up NSMBW at CostCo last weekend ($42).  I know it's not as hip or cool as COD4MW2, but there is something very entertaining about simple side-scrolling, Yoshi ridin', fireball throwin', coin collecting action.  It's not super hard to play, but it is super fun.  I love the multiplayer aspect too, makes a great party game.  :)

Played Wii for the first time in a while tonight, and it turned out I had a free NES download since they're apparently making the Internet Channel free again (I had downloaded it for 500 Wii Points some time ago). So I used my free download to get the Super Mario Bros. and ended up downloading Super Mario Kart too. I still have some points left over so now I'm trying to pick another SNES out of like 7 that I want. I totally forgot how awesome the Virtual Console is.

Definitely better than Dragon Warrior...the later Dragon Warrior games were certainly better than the first one.

In other Nintendo news....Netflix has launched a Wii channel.  No need for the disc any more.  Yay!

This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.
