Title: A Scanner Darkly
Post by: Deanpaul on February 26, 2005, 11:50 AM
A Scanner Darkly (http://progressive.stream.aol.com/aol/us/moviefone/movies/2005/ascannerdarkly_019026/ascannerdarkly_trlr_01_dl.mov)

Whenever I get a darkish image from my scanner I just adjust the curves in Photoshop... Maybe this movie will show me some new tricks.

Who'll see this? I will.

It looks like it has potential.  I don't get to the theater all that often, but it certainly looks like at least a renter.

I'm a big PKD (Philip K Dick) fan, so I'm there.  Hopefully its better than Minority Report (which wasn't terrible).

I didn't see Richard Linklater's other animated film, what was that, the Waking Life?  So I don't know what to think of this style.

This is a great story though - right in the midst of one of PKD's breakdowns when he was doing too much speed.
