The Mace Windu fighter is priced in Euros.  40 Euros (at today's rates) is more like $30 US.

Not a terribly exciting list really...  I like the Jedi Starfighters, but after that I suppose I could see myself picking up the Battlepacks...   :-\

Ya I'm not interested in anything here except for the overpriced Jedi Shuttle....Will land that on a sale and call it a day on the early 2011 stuff.  I refuse to go jedi skittles with LEGO starfighters even though I have one.  Sticking to my rule I guess.

Not Star Wars, but my oldest absolutely loves the Atlantis ones, so I'm looking forward to those continuing (the anglerfish and crab warriors look great).

Quite a few more sets out there for the later half of 2011, but I'm too lazy to go dig up pics.....Might break my rule and buy the new Falcon.

I would dearly love to see a photo of this one if anyone can find one...I have searched to no avail on Google.

This is practically a slam dunk for the TCW 3.75" line...

Does this (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4808268) work?  I poked around Brickshelf a bit to find it.  Not really a good picture, but its a start...   :-\

That Republic Frigate (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4808273) looks pretty nice.  Maybe if I'm really good this year Santa will bring it for me.

Has there been any more info on some of these sets?  I actually had some gift card to burn at WM due to some Christmas returns, so I picked up the Landspeeder set, and I'm dangerously close to being hooked on these.  I might continue to pick up an OT set here and there when I can afford it, but honestly, the holy grail for me would be a Falcon set.  If that is indeed coming this year, I better start saving now :).

I have to say, this Landspeeder set was the first "true" LEGO set I have bought (aside from the MIDI scale Falcon at WM last year), and I really enjoyed it.  Nothing too difficult of course, but it was a fun little project for our daughter (who put together the "people") and I.  Wouldn't mind getting a few more sets, but I can see how they would get addicting.

You can see most of them but the quality isn't the best, you'll probably have to wait for EuroToyFair

Brian - tread lightly.....Seriously.  I've avoided LEGO ANYTHING since I got back into collecting SW Hasbro stuff in 01.  Didn't get hooked on LEGO until a few years ago when I found (I think I've said this before) a UCS Batmobile on clearance for $17ish.  I've picked up 70+ sets since then and there is indeed a new Falcon coming this year, but I'm going to stick to my rule of only 1.

Very expensive habit, but at least you can make a few bucks if not more down the road (I'm not in this hobby to make money, but this is where you should be unless you're into stocks for toys)

I think Lego's a different egg over Hasbro stuff iFett, so mentioning making a buck down the road isn't a horrible thing.  Lego's are widely available, usually good sales...  People have ample chanes at getting them usually, and it just happens to be one hobby that holds its value and then some.

I've even contemplated selling my SW Lego collection for a profit.  I have like 5 B-Wings, 5 A-Wings, 3 Y-Wing/Vader TIE sets, 5 TIE Fighters...  I quit collecting after the TIE Fighter came out at some point, but I still pick up a mini-fig set now and then just to get like the Hoth rebel or whatnot.

Love Legos, hate the price, wish I could afford to have a full set around of them though. :)

One of my favorite LEGO things was the neat little "horns" piece they had for Maul and Savage.  It snaps on the top of the mini-fig head to give them the horns - too cute!

I saw the same thing while doing some of the photos on Eeth Koth and it's what really prompted me to say how cute mini-figures are.   :-X  It's a shame you can't just buy mini-figs because they'd have me lock, stock, and (bent over a) barrel with that.  I can't afford whole kits to just get figures, and obviously they are sorta blocked on just figures, but money saved I guess.

Ki-Adi's conehead attachment too.  Freaky and funny and just really adorable.

First time I saw the short legs was on Ewoks a while back...  They've been using them ever since but they don't move.  They're like a brick sort of.

I don't think I've opened any of my sets that include a Yoda, but quick google...

The first “short legs” for mini figures were introduced with the Yoda LEGO figure and the young Anakin Skywalker figure.  The Yoda Star Wars LEGO figure was also the first to have a molded head of a totally different shape and size from the standard LEGO figure heads.

Yeah that is some neat stuff there...  Legos keep churning out quality, and with their regular sales on stuff I really envy the Lego-specific collectors sometimes.

So far only they and Sideshow hit home-runs 100% of the time, to me.

I am so far behind on Lego right now.  I really have to go through the collection to see what I'm missing.  I haven't even picked up the last UCS set or two.  I hope this SDS doesn't come out for a while.

I have a bit of a dumb question about LEGOs.  I made my first non-MINI purchase with the WM Landspeeder set a few months ago.  Since then, I've thought about - as the budget allows - picking up a few more of the OT sets.  I definitely would like to get the Falcon when it comes out later this year, and I've also been looking at the X-Wing (still at our TRU), and the Slave I that is currently out.  I definitely don't need to have them all, but just some of my favorite ships here and there as I can afford them.  Anyways, my question is, how long do the sets generally hang about?  I thought about getting the X-Wing next, since it is only at TRU (and online) right now, and has been for awhile, so I figured it would be the next to go.  How long would something like the Slave 1 still hang around?  I know generally that non-exclusive LEGO sets sit for awhile (a year?), as opposed to the Hasbro line where you could blink and miss them.  Thanks for any info.

honestly, I would not wait if you can get them now, DO IT!!   With the new wave set to come in June, I would not take a chance. Its really hard to say how long a set will stay in stores. Ive seen sets last for 2 years or more and some less than a few months. To be safe, buy them now or you'll most likely pay  more off of Ebay or something.

Speaking of which, for anyone interested, I noticed while at TRU today that the X-wing set is on sale today and tomorrow for $40.  I thought that was a pretty nice deal, so I went ahead and picked that one up.  Anyways, I realize most LEGO collectors probably already have an X-Wing set of some sort, but just wanted to give the heads up (also that price at TRU.com).

Saw more detail on the super star destroyer at Yakface- very cool looking. I wish it had the rest of the bounty hunters (it comes with Dengar, bossk, and IG-88). I'll probably add this to the collection at some point, but no rush. Time to build up those lego points first...

The new LEGO sets look great and the LEGO bug is starting to bite me again since Hasbro distribution is so bad... only bad thing is that I have other versions of most of these sets and only want the updated minifigs. Decisions, decisions...

Same here.  I started out buying the Lego Star Wars stuff when it was first released, but because of Hasbro cranking out 50 million things a year, I stopped buying them between Episodes I and II, aside from grabbing the Boba Fett-related stuff.  In my then-completist mind, I thought it would be best if I sold all of the old sets so I wouldn't be tempted to buy more.  Needless to say, I regret that decision.  Even though the majority of those sets have been redone in far superior versions, I find myself kind of wishing that I'd gone the other direction and dropped the Hasbro stuff in favor of the Lego stuff.

I'm still not going full-bore into the Lego SW stuff, but I've kind of made amends with my completist mentality (in that it doesn't exist anymore, and I can pick and choose what to get).  I've grabbed a few of the newer sets (namely the Bounty Hunter Gunship, the Sith Nightspeeder, General Grievous' Starfighter, and the Geonosian Starfighter) and they really are a lot of fun.  There's also that sense of accomplishment you get from completing a Lego model that, in all honesty, isn't there when you're done assembling a Hasbro vehicle (no matter how cool it might be).

The new Republic Frigate and the Anakin/Sebulba Pod sets are what is tempting me at this very moment.  I'm hoping that, despite the slight TRU markup, they have another BOGO50%off sale soon so I can grab both of them at a slightly reduced price.

Target is being freaky again with their clearances.  Not all of the Targets in my area have any LEGO clearances and those that do have different sets on clearance - if any clearanced sets left.
