The Legacy Collection / Re: Recent Legacy Purchases
« on: July 31, 2008, 09:30 PM »
I finally found my Quarren soldier today.  The only new fig I had not seen yet.  I think the feet may have been put on the wrong legs.  The longest toe of each foot is to the outside.  I can't tell for sure, but the picture on the back seems to have the long toes to the inside.  I'm not concerned that it might be some rare error or anything, but he does seem to have a little trouble standing.  Are others finding the same thing with their Quarrens?

On the Padme set, what are the head wrap and white gown that come as extra gear from?  Are they from some scene I don't remember?  The only head of the three that the head wrap fits on is the Geonosis one.  The gown looks like it is from Sentorial Leia.

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Re: Lars Garage Diorama

Awesome work as always!  I can identify what some of the bits and pieces in the background are made from, but they are really artfully disguised.

It would be cool to see an alternate photo set with Anakin and Padme.

I can see everything today.  Nice work!!  I love the weathering on the droid.

Dang... sorry about that... can you see them now?

No.  I wish I could see what I'm missing.  Maybe it's something on my end.  ??

All I see are red x's for today's post.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, that's a Mara head I used for Isard.  It worked out okay, but I think I might redo it with a Marion head from Raiders.  Her hair is a little straighter.

And, yeah, that is an Elizabeth Swan head on Daala.

Yeah, that's a vintage Luke.  There's also a vintage Chiewie and Boba Fett up there, and a vintage Artoo used as a paperback book end.

Here is a link to all of my customs, plus a few that others made at the Feb. customs party.

I've revamped my displayed collection a bit.  Due to lack of shelf space, I ended up putting away the Legos and Micro Machines (However, I'll repost the old photos for "archival" purposes anyway).  I have also hung many of the vehicles to leave more room on the shelves.  It's still full.

It's a meager collection compared to some showcased in here, but the room is still my happy place.  :)

Let me know what you think.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Customs by Sith's Herald

I've finished a trio of influential females from the EU.  I've seen a few of these posted by others since the Lt. Shan/June Eclipse body was released, but have expected to see more. I had been waiting quite a while to make these.  I still may go back and try to make the rank bars more accurate (does Isard even wear one?)  Let me know what you think!

Admiral Daala

Ysanne Isard

Darth Zannah

Nice work.  Heck, here in MN I'm just inspired to see green grass somewhere.

That Yak Facw Jedi is pretty unique.  Care to give the recipe?

Sure:
POTF2 Yakface arms and head (with some green stuff sculptey on chin and eye brows)
ROTS Mas ameeda upper torso (It's great because it keep the upper body long like "realistic" Yaks!)
TAC Umpiss Stay arms
TAC A'Sharad Hett scarf
TAC Tatto Anakin Legs
Saga Eoth Koth Skirt
POTC Will turner bandolier
TAC BP Mace Windu Cloak
Knock off Mexican Maul lightsaber

Ah.  I can see it all in there now.  Quite the kit bash!

They're great, but where is the TIE-Trainer?  ???   ;)

D'oh!

I think I need to get a fresh can of yellow spray paint first.  Soon.  Very soon.
