Oddly enough I pretty excited about the Padme figure from that wave. Not that I do not like the clonetroopers. I will just be buying some other clonetroopers/figures instead.

I'm not positive which wave he fits into (I'm not an expert on CW3D by any stretch), but we have two loose crisp images of Clone PIlot Matchstick for your viewing pleasure on the fron tpage!

Yeah I think Matchstick looks pretty sharp with the unique helmet deco... Much better than the simple color stripes and things. :)

I'm sure I will now have jinxed this, but we are less than half a day from this wave not being in stores in July. It would actually be a fig wave that didn't make it to stores BEFORE the Hasbro presentation said it would. I gotta think someone in manufacturing/shipping is gonna get canned.

Actually, according to the signs in the pics above, this wave should be out "NOW" and the next wave (Wave 10) are the ones with the 07/31/09 dates on them. So I guess they are both" late" in that respect, but I would say it was just a mix-up on the dates on Hasbro's part.

Dude they're falling off the pegs over here.
At least that's my theory - Yarna is pushing Thire off the pegs, back into the stockroom, and probably back into the warehouse then on a boat back to China.

Luminara is indeed awesome. The elbow articulation is very clever, and the face sculpt is dang near perfect. Or close enough to seem gorgeous. It's one of the best Jedi in the line, easily. (But her foot holes are too shallow for most stands.)

Yeah, the advance pics from SDCC looked impressive. I am especially keen to check out the facial detailing...I was just reading about that whole freckle/zig-zag thing and was curious how it turned out.

To clarify my earlier post - the pics aren't actually showing the figures on the shelves at a Walmart, but that is where the captioning indicates they were found. I don't see any reason to doubt that, I have heard talk of this wave being spotted in MO too, but it's always important to be accurate.
It hit up 3 Wally's and a Target at lunch and they had zilch.

Found Luminara at Target yesterday. This is definitely one of the best figures in the Clone Wars line so far. 8)

I wound up ordering Argyus online. I should've ordered Luminara, too. As for the Battle Droids and Clones? I already got Thire in the WalMart 2-pack. And the Battle Droid is low priority.
Still, I'm very surprised that I haven't seen these figures at brick & mortar. I would've thought that there's been enough turnover on Clone Wars to get a good flow going to retail.

I found this wave yesterday, and I'm loving Argyus and Luminara. Eventhough Argyus is basically a retooled clone body - he turned out great, and I'd really like to see a generic Senate guard release follow this figure. A BP would be cool, with a few Senate guards VS a few bounty hunters we havent received yet...
