After a 10-year hiatus and the return of The Vintage Collection, we're bringing back the Defender Wishlists!   
What are your 20 most wanted figures you'd like to see in The Vintage Collection from The Original Trilogy?

The rules are simple: post your wishlist for the 20 3-3/4" figures or send them to me.  At the end of the month, I’ll tally up the votes and we’ll move on to the next theme.

I'd like to know when Hasbro's going to announce Figrin D'an's counterpart, Nalan Cheel in the TVC line.  Would be nice to get the full band together.

Looks like we get RFTs for Round 2!  Still no holsters, but nice to get Scrambas done, along with a new Capt. Antilles and couple others to diversify the line!  Now, lets get some Bespin Wing Guards done!

The Vintage Collection / Hasbro "Fan First" Livestream TVC 3.75" Reveals

Some nice drops for TVC on the Fan Friday, unfortunately, Walmart gets the TVC "Complete the Original 96" line?  The 3 shown were: AT-ST Driver, Paploo, and Endor Leia.  Lando (Bespin) was show to be on the way later in the year, though it is not know if this will be a part of the Walmart exclusive line.

Fly guy has reported that Emperor Palpatine with throne and a couple spare heads and force lightning is coming out.  Deluxe or SDCC exclusive?  We’ll find out more soon.

I saw this was revealed today.  I can't figure out how to attach pics, so I'll let Jeff or someone else do that.

A new Rey, but in her scavenger gear.  They both look nice, but I'd only want Rey.  Hopefully she won't be exclusive to this vehicle release.

I thought that repacks and repaints would be higher percentage, but kitbashes are mainly new heads so tooling would be minimal (I think). But this might be a good mix of new and repacks, getting out the main heroes and villains again plus some background characters, along with some new, never been done characters. I'd like the main characters and troops to be SA, while the rest can have 8-10 points of articulation. While this isn't a list of 40 that I would choose for myself (since I have some of the figures already), but I thought it was pretty balanced as what Hasbro might offer to the general public. Thoughts?

Other Collectibles / Crackdown on Japanese Star Wars Licensees Coming

Potential Bad news: Sounds like there's a crack-down on Japanese toy makers to sell outside of Japan (according to a blog).  Probably means the end of Kubricks, too.

 UPDATE: Apparently I just found out the original contract between some of these manufacturers and Disney did state that the merchandise were indeed for sales within Japan only. Somehow these got through to online shops that didn't know about this rule. So now we have a lot of very unhappy vendors there as well as very unhappy fans outside Japan.

 UPDATE II : I have been asked to list down all the effected merchandises. Unfortunately I don't have a list given to me. The only ones I know for sure were the Bandai kits since I am more into model kits. But if you were to look at Hobby Search's Japanese site and compare it to the English site, you can already see some of the things not model kits related there (at the Japanese site) missing from the English site. As for other brands like SH- Figuarts, Kotobukiya, etc etc, I have no idea if they too will be effected. I was only told Disney is applying some pressure to have these Japanese Manufacturers comply with their agreement

Well, Toy Fair is a few weeks away (Sat. Feb 9).  I'm not sure what to expect.  Hopefully, we'll get some answers as to what's going on with the SW line.  Anyways, I thought I'd open a thread here. 

I'll be helping JD out with TF again, so if you have questions that you'd like us to ask a Hasbro rep, feel free to put it here.
