Wow! Thats quite some collection there, pricey- but I guess the chases will be making up the bulk of that. And 2!! AT-ST drivers. Well if I win the lottery tommorrow I know what my first purchase will be  ;D

Hey Smokebelch, your photos are fantastic, what do you use to light the figures? I love photography but can't get anywhere near your quality of lighting!

ps. is your tag anything to do with an Underworld track?
Thanks man, got a pretty simple set up for my shots. I use my Ipod touch with a torch app to light em, and take them on a slow exposure. Takes a bit of playing round to get a good effect, but works really well. So long as you can change the exposure time on your camera will work with any led light source ie mobile phone etc.

And close on the tag- actually from a Sabres Of Paradise track, originally from same era as Underworld.

Haha back on topic, really want to get some beach 'tatooine' shots of the Landspeeder in action  ;)

Nice! You should put together some kind of star wars kubrick coffee table book or something.

He's right smokeblech, Your pictures are awesome. Some of them you even forget they are just figures.

Haha thanks guys, glad you dig em  ;D

I didn't realize you can hang the saber on his belt-- that's sweet.  :)

Yeah before I got the figure I hadn't seen that you could, but noticed the little hanger on his belt- and the loop on his sabre and figured must be for a reason. Getting the blade out was a bit tricky at first as didn't want to break it, but removes ok. Really nice touch I thought  ;D

Quick shot of luke in his floppy hat/poncho combo- have to say he's probably my favourite figure from the wave (well of the regular 6 anyways).

Nice Hat! by smokebelch, on Flickr

Like the fact that he's 'breakable' as well, these always feel slightly better quality than the 'unbreakable' figs. Hoth Luke was the same. Have to say I've always felt a bit dissapointed with some of the Star Wars Kubs for this reason- understand that they have to for licensing reasons- but some of mine have such wobbly legs they can hardly stand up! The paint and design is always great just feel the 'construction' can let em down a bit- esp if you end up paying a premium for a figure.
Does seem to be more figures in the recent waves that are 'breakable' and looking at the pics of Hammerhead he seems to be too  :) (not that i'll ever be able to afford him though!)

Just received my regular set- gotta say im so impressed with the Landspeeder. Really is beautiful, and the engineering to put it together is very clever. Love the little touch of the little clear 'bubbles' on the bottom to make it float, and the scale is just about perfect- was always a little unimpressed with the AT-ST scale wise, just seemed to small.
Also not sure if its been mentioned yet, but love the fact that Luke's lightsabre blade is removeable, and that you can hang the hilt on his belt.
Bit of a shame Hammerhead is going to be so unobtainable, one of my favourite characters- but thats medicom for you I suppose. Outside of the impossible to get chases though really digging this wave  :D

Definatly be picking up a set of 6 on the bay for these, though its a shame that Luke's got no chest print under his poncho.

Recently picked up the Alien Space Jockey set- been wanting to pick it up for ages, really nice set... though would be awesome if it was 400% so would be kinda in scale with the 100% figures.

Thanks guys  :D
Not got an expensive camera- its a fujifilm (was about £150- though had it for a couple of years now) not a DSLR so only has a fixed lens, but has got a good macro on it!

Wow, awesome pic. Congrats on finding him.

I think Amanaman would be my first 400% kub if they ever made it.
Cheers, yeah a 400% would be insanly amazing- especially if they included his head hunter staff, the one thing the 100% is missing.
Casually picked up the cheap figs in this wave thinking I wouldn't be too fussed about tracking down the whole lot... I must have forgotten the addictiveness of the kubs  ;D
Found Amanaman in a french online store- bizzarely they had sold out of all the regular figs but had him left  :o

I know its off topic but as a fan of photography, I'd love to know your set-up to get these stunning Macro shots.
Thanks- its pretty low-tech actually! My shots are lit with a torch app on my iPod touch, and taken on a long exposure. Can really play round with the lighting as its so portable, and the long exposure makes the colours and detail really pop. Backdrop is just a plain white piece of A4 paper.
Started using the set-up when I was taking some Lego shots and liked how the results came out- loads more up on my flickr page  :)

Dang. That photo just makes me want 400% versions of these puppies.
Damn 400% versions of these 3 would be amazing!

Managed to track down an Amanaman for a great price- and now can complete my build-a-jabba  :D

Spotted these had gone up when browsing the bay last night. Got a set ordered, great for those who never managed to track down the original figs for a good price- like myself  ;)

Very nice photo!

Seconded! That display looks great!  Do you leave scenes up like this or just set them up for photos and take them back down.  Looks awesome!

Cheers guys glad you like it  :)
Wish I had the room to keep the display set up- just set em up for shots then take em down. Loads more of this sorta shot up on my flickr page (Kubricks & Lego & Kenner figs etc- mostly Star Wars  ;) )
Now I've got my Snow Trooper quick shot of my 3 fav Imperials  ;D
