He might have been weird, but he was a great singer / performer.  I can't imagine growing up in the 80's without the King of Pop's music and music videos.  R.I.P. Michael Jackson. :'(

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Conan to Replace Leno in 2009!!!!

I'm glad that Conan has not changed the format of his show to satisfy the older people who watched Leno to gain more ratings.  His show is fine the way it is and is very funny.  If the old people don't like it they can watch "Old School" Leno when he comes back in the fall with his new show.  The Fonzie finishing at the Urinal and the Creepy Tom Cruise Wax figures were hilarious this week.

Why does Hasbro keep giving K-Mart exclusive items? ???  They always sell them for way, way, way too much money, they hardly sell any of them, rarely put them on clearance, and they are pretty much always repacks. >:(  All the K-Mart's here in Minnesota still have the exclusive commemorative tin sets from years ago for around $30.00 to $35.00 each on average (prices vary by store).  I don't get how K-Mart is even still in business since there prices are so high on everything in the store.  They don't seem to understand that if something is not selling then you should put it on clearance and get rid of it, like Target does.

That stinks that The Unit got cancelled. >:(  It was one of my favorite shows right now.  Guess CBS had to make room for C.S.I. Iowa or something. ::)

I just bought Chinese Democracy on Friday at the Edina Best Buy in Minnesota for $4.99.  Not sure if this is the price at all Best Buy's or just this store.  They must be having a lot of trouble getting rid of there extra copies of it.  Have not listened to it yet, so jury is still out on it for me.

I thought it was a very good season with many good twists and turns, but the finale was disappointing.  I did like the president turning in her own daughter, I thought that was awesome. :)

Anybody else a fan of Missy Peregrym from Reaper?

I think she is great in Reaper.  I also liked her in the gymnastics movie "Stick it".

Sad....I don't remember much of him outside of Smokey & the Bandit ...

Do you mean Cannonball Run?  I get the two confused too.

He was in Smokey & the Bandit Part II as the Doctor and in both Cannonball Run Movies.

I always thought his movie roles were very funny and am sad to here he passed.  :'(
R.I.P.

Hello all,

My name is Joe and JD was highly recommended to me by fellow member GrandMoffNick, so I decided to join.  I have been a huge fan of Star Wars since I was a little kid and a collector just as long.  I look forward to talking about everything and anything Star Wars with you all.
