Looking good DN!  I like the beard, it really makes him look like a unique character and not "just a clone."  Did you modify his helmet or are you going to use a regular helmet?

Hey everybody! I know I haven't updated in a while, I haven't found any good SAGA stuff except 2 Veers, which I'm displaying now, and school has consumed all of my time lately.

Excelling in military strategy, planning, and execution of orders, Commander Barker was promoted to General as well as Superior Field Officer in the Imperial infantry. Strong and level-headed, Hertios Barker was the first choice when it came to leading an operation. His last confirmed action was on Endor when he led a group of special ops transition troopers (in the works) down onto the forest moon to guard and protect the workers that were constructing the shield generator for Death Star Two. He utilized a PR-154 rifle that was his father's when Reykorn Barker was one of the galaxy's most notorious bounty hunters.

Here he is in his dress uniform:

Parts used:
SAGA2 Veers
BBi USMC Machine Gunner head

Here he is in Endor Command gear:

With armor:

Leading his troops:

Parts Used:
SAGA2 Veers (Body)
BBI Machine Gunner (Belt, Pouches, Head)
Cloth for cap and kama
RotS #33 Holster and Pistol

Well, I hope you like him. LMK what you think, all comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Next up:
Special Ops Transition Trooper (Stormie body, clone belt, Bacara helmet)

Looks nice. You and I are probably the ony customizers under the age of 16. I'm 11. I want to know what's on his face, dirt? I can't tell.

Nope there are actually quite a few of you. I can think of 5 here. Plus there are a bunch more at FFURG.

D_N, I like the part selction on these guys and they are put together very nicely. Your use of softgoods looks good as always.

I think this guy might look better if you toned down the dirtines on the face. Not everyone is going to get quite so dirty. It could just be the flash, but the shirt appears to be rather glossy. You could try and get a can of Testor's Dullcote and give it a spray, that'll dull it down a bit and will help keep the paint from chipping.
"This is the way."

Part of his face is dirty. He has a black and gray beard, as well as some heavy scarring from when he was a POW back in the Clone Wars. (Photonovel)

It's just the flash on the gloss, there. I painted his goggles gloss black just to make them look shiny. Where do you find Dullcote? I can never seem to find any.

Thanks for your comments, guys, I really had fun making these.

Very nice to see you update again.  I think they do have a bit too diry of a look on the face but it could be just a glare.

You're extremely talented with the soft goods on figures, in fact you do a better job I think thank Hasbro usually does.

As for dullcoat, here is what I use -

Sorry for that tiny pic, it's a matte acrylic spray sealer that you can buy at  Walmart in the arts/crafts section.  It's only about $3.00 per can.

That ARMC is cool, the weathering is a bit much, but it works.  It looks like he just got out of a battle.  I noticed that a lot of your customs do not have helmets - do you modify their helmets also or do you just leave them plain?

Those Barker-Veers modifications turned out well.  I like the use of the belt, holsters and kama.  I agree with Ryan's comments about toning down the dirt on his face, especially since he is in his dress uniform.

Torso, Right Hand- XD Imperial Marines figure
Left Hand- BBi Navy Seal Sniper

Well, I hope you like him. Any comments and/or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

He could be used in some sought of desert campaign or even some sought of trench fight. Also you've done another great figure and I like the extra gear he is carrying.

Thanks hemble.

I wasn't a big fan of Barker's head, and I couldn't come up with a story for him. So, if anyone recalls my Eon J'Toul custom about a month back, here he is in another outfit-

Before he was assigned to hunt down Hertios Barker of the 194th Legion, Kel Dor mercenary Eon J'Toul volunteered to fight in the Dantooine Civil War. The war, which broke out over moisture farmers and citizens angry about taxes and freedoms, set out on a four-year campaign to the capital of the planet, destroying everything in their path to federal establishments, opposer's dwellings, and of course, the Dantioone Galactic Army. Eon J'Toul had the rank of Sargeant and was in charge of leading the Swas Ti regiment, comprised of a little over 1,000 mean, as a forward column to stop the DGA resistance from destroying the movement altogether.

Well, I hope you like him. LMK what you think, all comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.
