That is WAY cool!
I`ve never seen that before (not too into Lego), but damn, that is sweet.

Hmmm.  An 8ft Republic Attack Cruiser for $31,000.  I'd have bid if they would have taken cheques.   ;)

$31,602.00 US! Oh yeah, will they get that kind of coin for it?

I was surprised that there were no bids in the last 18 hours or so of the auction.  I guess not a lot of people trying to swoop on a $30K item!

Interesting to check out the winner, mikek818. Looking at his feedback, he's a buyer of customs and a seller of the GTA San Andreas Hot Coffee mod. Must be some good money in pixel sex!

Holy crap.  So $31,000 for a 35,000 piece LEGO rebel attack cruiser, that's almost $1 per LEGO piece!!  Ha ha, let's hope that this thing never falls apart, putting it back together could prove to be an exercise in futility.  The nice thing about this auction, even though the buyer could have had a damn nice car instead of an 8 foot LEGO rocket ship, is that the proceeds went to charity entirely.

Wow.  That's the same exact ship that a lot of us saw at Lego's booths at Celebration 3 in Indy, and then again at Comic Con a couple months later.  Crazy to think that thing went for nearly $32K (with a TON of bids on it, no less).  Damn, you could get a sweet ride for that amount...

I just noticed the seller gave positive feedback to the bidder, yepper some serious coin there.
