I never saw the clean in a store.  Or anywhere else for that matter.  I have two dirty ones, but I hope they make the upcoming troop builder pack all clean.

I agree Dustrho - the vintage Scout is the best of the line.  I still remember getting my five dollar allowance for the month of June in '83 and rushing out to K-Mart to get him!   ;D

All of you guys have detailed what's wrong with the current situation better than I could, so I'll just say that from a retail point of view, the SW ship has been sinking since '98.  This pattern of glut, Hasbro dudes coming to the stores and clearing them out for new product has happened how many times now?

And who's fault is that?  Hasbro does terrific things with SW - I'm so glad they're making SW toys - but their production management (case assortments, over-production) is puzzling.  Now, it would have killed any other line by now.  These retail fluctuations have been going on for five years, and maybe Hasbro has found an acceptable level of comfort with them.

Me, I just learned to buy online.

I can't afford to pay $75 for him on Ebay, so... distribution here is awful.  I wish someone else would get the license.  MAC is a truly awful company.  The figures (such as they are) are nice, but their PR leaves a lot to be desired.

LOTR
Simpsons (but not so much anymore)
Buffy (if they ever get around to putting more out...)
NASA Space Shuttle toys/replicas
Any kind of spaceships.  I LOVE spaceships.   ;D
And the odd piece here and there.  

I'd love to collect Marvel Legends, but I just don't have the money or the space.  I do have a little space for Beast, though.   :)

GH updates to say this is definitely a TRU style 4 pack.  No ETA given.  Boy, I hope it is a WAY early mock-up.  I hold out hope the Plo Koon ends up being the POTJ one repainted arena style.  Sigh.  I had such high hopes for a set like this.  Imagine the possibilities!

That would be awesome, Chewie.  I was trying to think of a 'theme' myself, but couldn't.  They could maybe also squeeze in some of the missing engine parts from that long lost E1 Queen's Starship accessory pack, remember?
