Title: Commander JediSearch's Customs
Post by: Commander JediSearch on June 2, 2005, 08:04 PM
Here is my first Custom, go easy on me!  I thought since my avatar is Jedi Luke, it would be cool if that was my first custom.  So, here you go!

This was originally a Bespin outfit Luke, correct?  This is very cool, doesn't even look like a custom.   :)

has anyone tried to make the clone trooper more "movie accurate"?  aka adding the black line above his visor, haveing the gray around the back of his helmet, etc.

This is a coll idea! ;D

Hee Hee!!!  The R2-Q5 is hilarious (in a good way, it's the deformed shape of the toys, not your paint job - which is excellent).

The Clone looks great too!   What kind of paint are you using?

I'm just using the regular Testors model paint from Wal-mart.  I'm having a lot of fun with these!

That would be fun, but I don't have any more BK Astromechs (I am keeping an original R2 for the collection).  :'(  If I come across another BK Astromech, what scheme would you suggest?

I haven't found a single R2 yet  :(  I haven't been looking that hard though...
I think maybe R2-B1 or whatever the blue one is would look pretty cool.  ;)

Wow, that's no fun!  You should write to BK Corporate, and tell them your experience was "less than optimal" and "at least McDonald's loves to see you smile".   ;)

On the road for a year and a half?  Wow, definitely take some time to relax!  Actually, customs are pretty relaxing right?  That's it!  I want to see some more BK Customs!  :P  ;)

I second that! At least do the Green Trooper! :P Also you should try to repaint a Boba Fett to be some Mandalorian warrior, and the freat thing is with those, you can use your own paint scheme!

great job on your BK customs! ;D

Here's my first try at customizing a regular figure.  You have all seen my BK customs, and thanks to continuous encouragement, I finally have the time and the resources to do it.  The picture doesn't do him justice.  He almost looks black.  I used a dark sea blue, and he looks awesome in person.

Here is Commander JediSearch.  Mission:  Search for the remaining Jedi and eliminate by any means necessary.

Like I said on TheJawa.com, this is a very cool custom!  I like the mix-match of clone parts, I should have done that for my Commander Gorb...
It's cool that you left the inside of his kama "lined" - very clever ;)

Yah know, thats about one of the simplest customs possible, but it's so damn good.
He just looks ready to command and lead troops alongside Vader. Hunting down the Jedi scum.
Maybe it's jsut the shiny black paint, I dunno. I really like this one.

The pictures made it look black, but it's more a deep sea blue.  Thanks for the compliments.

Wow, I really like this one!  Great painting and the darker paint (looks black to me too) makes him look downright mean, and to me this is a better design than in the film.

Keep it up.  I see a few paint lines that could be a little more straight, but that is not a criticism - I don't think I could top this.

Corporal SureShot made a name for himself during the Assault on Kamino.  He had 50 confirmed kills and only 50 rounds had been fired from his weapon.  After the battle, Commander JediSearch requested to have SureShot assigned to his team.

Cool custom JS!  Nice use of parts.  Did you have to swap out the neck-ball-joints for the Bacara head?  I had to do that when I made my SA Bacara because his head was a little too big  :-\

What is the scope on that sniper rifle?  It's looking pretty badass 8)

Thanks Greg!  I didn't have to modify any ball joints or heads, all three bodies swapped perfectly (33, 41, & 49).  I'm not sure where the sniper weapon came from, I haven't looked it up.  It came in a huge bag of weapons I bought at the flea market a while back.  I though the scope was rockin!  I'm glad you like him.

Wow, great custom, and not just your everyday Clone repaint.  I think it's the helmet that really sets him apart, that and the blue stripe on it.

The sniper rifle looks spectacular and the cloak adds an element of those wonderful Clones in the Art of Revenge.

Commander Bacara's figure exists just to show that there are worse clone figures than the AT-TE Gunner.

Those custom figures look awesome. If I can get my hands on a second Bacara, I'm definitely using it for the parts.

The sniper rifle is, as noted, a G.I. Joe weapon. It came with three versions of the character Tunnel Rat (V1, V2(Night Force), and V3(Sonic Warriors).
