In another image the front leg shows screws that look like it is adjustable.  It also looks like the awkward gap that runs through the front foot is so the leg can swivel back on itself and put the leg up.

The rear still look fixed though, maybe they're not the finals?

Do the knee and ankle joins look fixed in place to anyone else?  Unless it's a center split (50/50) on the middle front knee I can't see how they move.

Another fun thing, there are two versions of this ad.  That's the Star Wars Insider one.  The one on the back of ToyFare #121 says (no joke) "The Mandalorians R In Ur Base... Trainin' Ur Doodz."

Fun!

I hope that this is the last clone.

That's unlikely.   :-X

He can handle action movies if there's not foul language or gore  -- what's the word on this?  Thanks guys.

There's some violence towards humans, but nothing that is gory.  And there's a few swear words and a little discussion about masturbation.  If he saw Revenge of the Sith, he shouldn't have any problems with this.

Because of all the time Lucas spent actually masturbating to CGI in ROTS, or the violence?

How many people out there have some backward Chinese symbol that doesn't mean what they think it does?

That only happens in flashbacks to characters on Lost.

Just had this done yesterday and today. I love it.

What exactly would prohibit another company like GG doing so if they created something similar, but not cast in metal?

 :P

Whining about scale.  Whining about price.

Gentle Giant reviewed all of the bitching and whining over scale price around here and decided making playsets for Star Wars fans just wasn't worth it, because the vocal whiny minority is never satisfied.

The boys got this one for their birthday and I haven't been able to put it down.   :D

250+ pages of all the stuff we used to do as kids before the world got "safe-crazy".  This book has got it all -
- how to build a go-cart
- how to build a trip-wire
- how to skin a rabbit
- how to play chess, poker, coin sports, etc

and much, much more.  I can't wait until the guys get a little older and we start trying some of these things out.   :D

I heard about this on NPR when it launched in the UK and loved the excerpts.  It wasn't launched in the US yet when they did the story, and the release date was months later.  I forgot about it until I saw your post - I definitely want to pick up a copy!

What a stupid bitch!

I love that no one told her she could only buy 1 (or 2 at the Apple Store).  Not even the news team who did a good job staying out of the story.  100,000 would buy about 150 of the 8GB iPhones - most AT&T stores only received between 50 and 100 iPhones period.  What a vapid waste of a human, I bet she scalps McQuarrie figures as well.

Even if she could find 150 iPhones, they're only clearing $750 on eBay.  That could be a potential $15,000 profit for her, if her extra 150 phones hitting eBay didn't drive the price down.

We added a second car last month for the girlfriend to take with her to school.  We went with the Nissan Versa - like this, but in black:

Cool tone on tone license plate Rob!  I know the black one must lose the effect since the plate is blue, but the one in the photo is hot.
