Other Collectibles / Re: Hallmark Star Wars

My wife just started my collection of these this past Christmas by giving me the Jango Fett and Slave I ornaments.  This year, I'll have one more thing to spend money on during the holidays.  ;D

I have the full original soundtracks from SW and ESB on vinyl as well as "Music from" LPs of SW and ROTJ which contain the best known pieces from their respective movies.

Also Nikto is that the same Nikto from Jabbas palace?

I assume you're referring here to the Nikto Jedi in the Geonosian arena that was also made into an action figure.  The answer is likely no, as Nikto is a species, not a name.  Why that one character out of all of the background characters in AOTC is the only one apparently unnamed is beyond me.  It's possible that the character was named after Hasbro manufactured and packaged the figures, but if so, I'm unaware of any name attached to the character.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re:The Hulk Movie Tralier.
« on: January 28, 2003, 12:10 AM »
I didn't see it during the Super Bowl (not much of a sports fan), but I did make sure to stop by the official site  (http://www.thehulk.com) today and check it out.  Hmm, well, the Hulk was appropriately big, that's for sure, but he seemed a bit too...cuddly, I guess.  His face looked like the big lovable bear type of a guy (my wife mentioned Shrek, and she's not too far from the mark).

I understand that as the protagonist, we're supposed to identify with him and all.  But we're all familiar with the line (that's even in the trailer), "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry".  Well, if you're just a big green teddy bear, who wouldn't like you?

I'm sorry...I'm ranting.  I am looking forward to the movie.  I'm just hoping they don't screw it up like so many other possibilities have been screwed (anybody see the piece of trash they call the D&D movie?).  But, I guess on the plus side, I didn't see the Hulk spewing any cheesy one-liners. ;)

We have 2 cats, Abbey (the queen) and Finn (the brat prince)

What's with all the cat people? Are there more of us here or are we just more likely to answer something like this? hmmm...

Newbies / Oh, don't mind me

Hi all, I found this site a couple months or so ago but forgot about it and just re-found it so I figured I'd introduce myself.

I'm from the Chicago area and collect for display purposes, so most of my stuff comes out of the package (unless it's a double usually).  I've been a fan since I saw ESB in the theater as a tyke but I didn't start seriously collecting until about TPM.

All the stuff I had as a kid was lost or destroyed (that's kids for ya  ;)), and since I mostly collect for looks I usually go for the newer stuff anyway.  There've been amazing advances in action figure likenesses since I was a kid. ;D In addition to action figures and vehicles, I also collect the Lego sets and various miscellaneous SW goodies.

So, hello to you all, and I look forward to getting to know some of you (though I tend to be more lurker than poster :))

To switch gears a bit, what do blue shoulders on a battle droid signify?
