Based on the two forays that I've made to Winnipeg in my life, I have two suggestions -

The Winnipeg Grasshoppers or the Manitoba Endless Wheat Fields. 

But, that's it for this year right?  We've seen everything haven't we?

So far, we've seen 15 sets in the line:

 6- Obi-Wan/ARC
 7- Mara/Luke
 8- Leia/Vader
 9- DarkWoman/Hett
10- Anakin/Droid
11- Hobbie/Fel
12- Swan/Arana
13- Obi-Wan/Bail (Wal-Mart)
14- Droid/Fett (Wal-Mart)
15- Keller/Marine (Wal-Mart)

During the C-IV Panel, Hasbro said there would be 18 sets this year so there are 3 that have yet to be shown.

According to the R2-Dtoys listings that popped back in February, the remaining three are rumored to be:

16- Stormtrooper Disguise Mouse & Able
17- Lieutenant Jundlund & Lieutenant Shan
18- Republic Commando & Super Battle Droid

I have no idea if those last three will pan out or if they were just rumors, but I'd imagine that we will know more at SDCC.

OK, after seeing the info, I had to start a thread for these...  Looks like there will be more figures to go with that Yoda/Mickey 2-pack from last year:

I can't remember what online site they were saying was going to have it as it's exclusive..was it Diamond or somebody?

It is available through Diamond Comics.  That means that it will be sold through their Previews catalog, so anyone who orders from Previews (EE, NewForce, local Comic Shops, etc) should be able to sell this (like the Saga DS Briefing set was).

According to Hasbro, it should hit in September.  Since Previews has a 2-3 month lead time, look for pre-order info in the upcoming month.  We should know more about price and such then...

6 games under .500 in May is not.

Well, even though I am definitely not a fan of the Yankees, I am a fan of a different team who found themselves in a similar situation last year...

at the end of the year - 96-66 (1st place)

So yeah, I agree that 5 or 6 games below .500 (and 10+ games out of first) in late May is no big deal... 

Baseball is funny like that.  Teams get hot and cold at different times of the year, it's really too early to write them off just yet.  Now, if the Yankees are still below .500 after the All-Star break, we can start talking bad about them. 

Game 1 -
The Sens looked good until the 3rd Period.  So much for that "faster, smoother" style of hockey, the "rough and tumble" NHL will never go anywhere based on the sucess of the Ducks this year...  Still could be an interesting series if the Sens can stay healthy.


Preds, sold and moving? -
On the "bad side", sorry Jamie.  I sure hope for your sake that the moving talk is a lot of hot air.

On the "good side", I know it's just the Commish telling folks what they want to hear, but I guess there is always hope Brent.  From ESPN:

Winnipeg is seen as the most logical choice to rejoin the NHL because it has a new arena and more community support for a return to the NHL.

"When we had the chance to go back to Minnesota, we did. Because it made sense, the right ownership, the right building situation," Bettman said. "The market was strong and vibrant. We haven't studied Quebec City or Winnipeg or anywhere else in Canada, but the notion that if it could work to put a franchise back in a place where one was lost, feels good -- provided we don't wind up in a situation where we've created a prescription for another failing franchise.


I know, I know, lots of hurdles and what not, so don't get those hopes up too high. 

I will say this though - if and when the NHL returns to Winnipeg, you buy the tickets and I'll gladly drive up for a Wild V. Winnipeg game.
