So the Tank Driver that's in the box with the Hover Tank will also be carded individually? Or is the Tank Driver no longer going to be included with the Tank?

More fun stuff. I like the Han a lot more than I expected.
Also the Tank Driver is not with the tank. I've read a few people say that Hasbro at one time said it was, but I don't recall them saying that.

Thanks for the clarification - just saw a good shot of the Tank box it says "Figures in vehicle not included" - so I guess that settles it.
I'm glad, that way I can get a bunch extra of the figure like I'd normally want to do. ;D

What CHEWIE said. I don't ever recall Hasbro saying the tanker was coming with it but I see people thinking it is. I think there is confusion because it's being shown and mentioned around the Tank since last year but yeah, I believe he's just a basic figure.
Man that Mimban Trooper and Range Trooper look pretty awesome. Han too. The quality figures make me even more amped to see the movie and what all they do.

This is a solid wave. The Tank Driver will probably sell pretty well. Especially since the tank calls for at least 3 of these guys for the crew complement.
As for the tank itself? The packaging states explicitly that there aren't any figures included.

In looking at that close-up of the Tank Driver, it now occurs to me why the Scarif Trooper isn't on the radar for the TVC line.
The Tank Driver IS the Scarif Trooper with a different head, belt piece and deco.

Really like the new Han, and the troopers look great too. Surprised we were shown as much as we were this weekend, seems like Hasbro made a good showing.

That Han is going to be awesome for customizing random civilians and alt attires. The primary reason I picked up a few Finn figures.
Shouldn't the Tank Driver technically be classified as a repaint since it's the same sculpt as the Scariff Trooper? :D

I still giggle at a guy in armor being a tanker because those hatches would NOT be easy to get in and out of with armor on, haha. Hell they'd be difficult even if you only were wearing coveralls.

Hmmm. This is about where it's no longer sensible for me to purchase by the case. Wave 2 already. If I allow myself to accept all troopers for opening, at two cases in order to keep a carded set, I'd be stuck with 2 Rey's, 2 Snoke's and 2 Kylo Ren's. 3/4 a case. :-\

I'm in the same boat.
I wish the Hoth Trooper was carried forward instead of the First Order Stormtrooper. This way, I could skip buying the first case and just get two of this Wave 2 case and then pick up a Vintage Carded Jyn Erso (which we all know will be the peg warmer) and a First Order Stormtrooper (which is coming 2 per case) from WM or Target.
Maybe I'll just take the approach of getting 1x of each case with this line - I have an "opened" Vintage cardback collection, so I would have wanted to get at least one of all of the repacks to open (as crazy as that sounds) anyway, so 1 Wave 1 Case and 1 Wave 2 Case results in:
3x Snoke
3x FO Stormtrooper
1x Hoth Trooper
2x Rey
2x Kylo Ren
1x Jyn
1x Death Trooper
1x Han Solo
1x Enfys Nest
1x Tank Driver
Fingers crossed that Wave 3 will at least have the three new figures carried forward and that would leave only the need to find a Hoth Trooper, Jyn Erso and Death Trooper in the wild...

I feel like that Han figure could be repainted as a pretty good Yerka Mig.
I'm sort of debating whether I want to start a sequel trilogy collection. I've been pretty happy with displaying only my OT collection this past few years, and I've started letting my kids play with the PT stuff. Mainly because I didn't want to have go to Walmart to find well articulated figures or collect the 5-poa stuff. Plus, the vehicle offerings seemed pretty poor in comparison with what we have for the OT. For instance, once you go big X-Wing and TIE fighter, you can't go back.
I'm wondering if we'll see some large scale sequel trilogy vehicles, as well as a full selection of SA figures for that trilogy? If so, I'd be tempted for sure.

I keep going back and forth over this case assortment and how it reflects Hasbro's logic in moving forward with the Vintage line. Obviously one needs a crystal ball to ideally plan these things out, but I wonder how much of this assortment is collector based vs boys toys marketing based.
Although for me personally, buying this assortment by the case doesn't make sense, not even one case as I'll have 3 figures I can't do anything with, the more I look at it, the more it might be a good retail assortment. Setting aside the three new figures, the Deathtrooper is a no-brainer for vintage treatment. Snoke makes sense as a carry-forward. That leaves Rey, Kylo and FO Stormtrooper. The more I think about it, these aren't bad as Stormtroopers always seem to do well and Kylo tends to not hang around for too long either.
In the end, as I put in down on paper, this is not a horrible assortment. Hope Hasbro's got it right and that we won't see much peg clogging. I haven't been this excited for the hobby in years. I love it.

I agree about this not being a bad assortment. I'm definitely glad to see three new figures in the wave, plus Snoke who is only one wave old. Add in a couple of refresh army builders plus Rey and Kylo Ren? And it should be a reasonably balanced case.
I'm hoping that the new figures look as good as some of the prototypes. They need to nail Han. Prototypes are one thing, but production versions can be another thing entirely. I'm also wondering how Enfys Nest will turn out. The version with the swoop bike is cool, but I'm interested to see a TVC version.
So have we seen any kind of time frame on when this wave would be released? I'm hopeful that it will hit next month, if not by June.

Have any retailers started to solicit this case and/or has there been any confirmation of Jayson's assortment? Not that I doubt Jayson, if this is indeed the assortment it's going to factor heavily into how much of the Wave 1 figures I pick up now or just wait for Wave 2 to come out and order by the case...

Due to an error, a few things (6" Enfys Nest & Swoop Bike, TVC Imperial Tank) were released for pre-sale before they were supposed to be. The online shops had to stop taking pre-orders at the request of Hasbro but both items are still coming in the Fall. They should go back up for pre-order again soon.

It's definitely nice to see these. Clearly the renamed the Tank Driver, even though the Amazon listing still calls it a hovertank driver. And I think I'll probably pick up at least one more Death Trooper. Almost all of the cardbacks look sweet.
….But the photoshop job of Han in front of the Falcon seems a little off. I get that Hasbro took some creative license with some cardback art like they did with the Deleted Scene wave. But in this case they should have been able to get some sort of promotional photo for Alden Ehrenreich as Han from Lucasfilm.

The Han card reminds me of the worst of the photoshopped TVC cards. Could have done way better, but oh well. The figure is very nice.

I like to troop build, but doing it to this extent with the current price structure is a little tough for me.

Hah yeah. 3 tanks, 3 tankers per (assuming now that I've done this, they will sell a commander, and I will be forced to simply buy a 4th tank and have a spare guy just hanging out).
I'm basically all in on new TVC. It's pricey, sure, but it's what I dig. The 5POA doesn't satiate my carnal Star Wars articulation needs. :-[
To be fair (to me) though, I probably would've bought dozens of these guys at $10 and yeah, I can't do that stuff anymore... 3 each per 3 tanks is about probably my budget's limit. I also figure I won't be spending TOO much on Star Wars this year too. I mean no new film launch, product will be sporadic... At least product I want since I don't buy 6" at all really.
I just committed to something far, far worse than the above though. ::) I cannot even speak of it at the moment.

Well obviously Jesse didn’t get all the tankers or I got my order in on time as I’ve not gotten an EE rejection email ;)
I ordered 3 of the tankers along with a Han and Enfys Nest. I’m glad EE is taking orders for single figures as I don’t need a whole case and don’t have the time to hit up every retail store! Part of me thinks these could wind up being peg warmers once they hit retail, however... I’ve seen a lot of the first wave sitting around at Target mostly, even army builders like the FO Stormtroopers.

Even though it's costing me a bit more, I too pre-ordered everything I needed from this wave from EE. If I find more army builders or another Enfys Nest out in the wild, great, but if I never find any of these three new figures, I'll be okay.

Kinda my thinking too Pete. I’ll pick up some more in the wild if I see them. I will want fodder and duplicates I feel sure. But knowing I have my minimums met is nice.

Same here - I'll probably pick up a couple extra Solo Han figures if I can find them for 'old Han' head swaps and what not, but not at $13 each. But I'll pay the EE price to make sure I find a couple for sure, especially on that Tanker Driver.

If they do this, all the time, every figure, for TVC, count me in. And count me in for extras on army building. Yeah, it's a little more money, but so is gas, wear and tear on my cars, and time.... and my nerves. The "hunt" for me is stupid at this point, financially speaking.

I checked a local Walmart last night looking for Solo 3.75" Wave 3 and they didn't even have pegs for TVC in the SW section yet. They did however have TVC Jyn and Rey in the clearance area for $12.93 though... ::)
I guess I'll just stick with my EE pre-order on this wave. :P

I popped by a Walmart in Wisconsin over the holiday weekend and it was the same thing. No TVC pegs at all.
Is Walmart just not carrying them? That would be bad...

I've seen TVC figures at ONE Walmart in my area since the relaunch. Most of my WM stores are back to the 2013-15 method of only stocking the toy lightsabers, and zero other Hasbro Star Wars merch.
I think Gamestop or Online will be the place to go for these

The 2 Wal*Marts closest to me have not had a spot for TVC since the Solo reset. I did see one store in the area over the summer with a peg for TVC but that has been it. And I have been amused at the prospect of exclusive, sequentially numbered TVC releases at Wal*Mart...so far the entire line has appeared to be exclusive to Target in my experience.

Found a single case at my local Wally this morning. Picked up Han and the Tank Driver and left the rest. This store has had a single First Order Stormtrooper sitting on a Vintage peg for months, so maybe that’s why they got this wave now.

I got this wave at my local walmart thanks to intel from an employee last week telling me that they were expecting something from TVC on Sunday night’s truck. There were no pegs marked for TVC and I found these on a TBS 6” peg. Brickseek also doesn’t show any updates indicating this store has stock, I think it is starting to be less effective for such things.
Anyways, this is a nice trio of figures. Enfrys Nest is the winner of the bunch - highly detailed, though it does not have a removable helmet. Han is nice too, just got some weird paint apps on the eyes and sideburns. Tank Driver is good, ironically doesn’t represent the driver shown on the card as it is missing some paint apps on the armor. Overall, a much better wave than the first and I’m pleased to get it out of the way knowing wave 1 is still all over the place.

I saw a Hasbro rep at one of the area WalMart stores today while I was looking for this wave. I was CONSIDERING talking with him, as I've run into this guy at stores before. He has been generally helpful when we've spoken. But considering how this store had the exact same stock as my last visit a couple of days ago? And there were no pegs allocated for the TVC line? I figured it wasn't worth the time. Besides, he was engrossed in conversation with the Mattel rep who was setting up some Hot Wheels display. Maybe he was looking for a new gig?

I got Wave 2 locally for $5 per. Keeping my EE order for sure barring finding the motherload on clearance. Started looking thanks to Yakface’s reporting on this en masse and it paid off for myself and a friend. We each only found one lone set tho which is kinda odd.

Yeah I got billed Friday... I am caught up now on Wave 2 and just now need some Range Troopers from Wave 3 pretty much. I wouldn’t turn my nose up at Praetorians and more Tankers too tho. 🤷♂️

How can I search for Wave 2 or Wave 3 on Brickseek? Does anyone know the best SKU/UPC to use? I have tried using the Search function but it only pulls up the Wave One figures.

Same here, though mine are coming Friday. I’m really glad EE offered the single figures (as opposed to the whole case) since it sure beats driving to a bunch of Walmarts and Targets to only find nothing... It saved money and my sanity :P

Just wanted to pop in and offer a big THANKS to all of you who have ordered with the JD EE referral links. Between the Wave 2 and 3 pre-orders for the troopers alone (range trooper, tank driver), we've earned nearly enough for two months of server fees!
So yes, EE charges $14 per figure, but know that you're basically tossing $1.40 at JD (and saving gas money) with each figure you order! ;) Thanks everyone!

Patience seems to have paid off... Han (and Enfys Nest) finally dropped to normal $12.99 prices on Amazon.
I also managed to get an order in for some Tank Drivers at $12.97 each, but ship date is TBD.

Really hoping we get a repack of the assault tank driver. I was watching Rogue One last night and noticed the AT-AT's were being piloted by these guys. So now I guess I need 2 for my second tank, and 4 for my two BAT-ATs!
