I'm back.
I agree, it's a neat figure. He's good for display and... that's all.
I was very disappointed when I opened my miner, and yes you're right, a platform would have made the difference.
I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
Great review as always. "Precisa y objetiva",  even if I haven't posted any comments in quite a while ago, I've read them all. I really enjoy them.
so, congrats.

I´ll have two.
One for the carded wall an another...well somewhere in the Naboo section, hidden I think, or filling some empty space.

A very objetive (i´m not sure of this word) review.
Well done!

And as far as the movies goes, I think AOTC is the worst of all

TPM has very good moments like....uhmmm....well...it´s better...isn't?

Agree, in every aspect of your review.
The lack of arms articulation it´s sad but...with Hasbro you can never have it all.

I already have three of these, one for each prequel episode.

Oh an the pic of Threepio´s foot is great!

Me neither. The only VOTC figures that arrived down here (México I mean) were the ones from ANH, we never saw the ESB or ROTJ ones in reatil. A very sad reality I know.

Latter on the year you could get the figures in "specialized" stores for $35 dollars or so.

Now i have this r2 from the wave of hoth TSC, and it´s grat too but the packaging and accesories, ...well it´s not the same thing. Bad luck for us.

Saludos a todos!

Toy Reviews / New JD Review: Death Star Gunner
« on: October 19, 2006, 01:12 AM »
I´m absolutely agree with this one...
I already have six gunners and they look great together, especially if you pose them in action!

I think the gunner is in the top 5 figures of this year. It´s even  a better figure tha Commander Cody himself.

Thanks for the review Mr. J, it´s really good

P.S. THEY DON´T HAVE EYEBROWS!!!!
...perhaps the reactor exploded accidentally

Yeah, he looks extremely odd with that raised eyebrow... ???
I bought the complete wave of Endor, so I have this figure here at home, mixed with another 30 figures from ROTJ he doesn´t look so bad, you just have to put him in the back...next to that horrible Palpatine (who returned for this wave). :-X
I think the bad part is that we might see this body with new heads in the near furure...
A fair review. I´m absolutely agree with you. It´s a shame, I love Imperial Officers...bad luck with this one.
Congrats for another great review!  ;D

Thanks to you man!

Yep, you do have helped me with my decisions 'cause sometimes they are very difficult to make. ;)
For example: to get a VTSC figure here in México you have to buy an lectronic lightsaber, the figure comes attached to the saber´s box and the retail cost is $380 pesos, about $35 dollars. >:(

So, I really tought I was going to skip this ones, but after reading your reviews, well, I just knew  I couldn't let that happen. I bought them on the Net, saved a lot of money, because as you say the figures are worth it.

That´s just an example of how useful your reviews are to me. :P

Chirpa, I think the "new" hight looks better with the rest of the figures, unfortunally I´ve jsut read on a a Hasbo´s Q&A that there won´t be any new ewoks sculpst s in the near future, so I´ve bought a couple of chirpas to "redecorate" them and have a nice little ewok army.

 Nos vemos pronto
 See ya soon

Good night, and good luck
Buenas noches y buena suerte! :)
