So are we gonna do this again this year? I thought Id bring it up a bit early.

I'm out for this year, as Josh mentioned I should be dissallowed since my shipment didn't workout. My SS should be dissallowed too..if he/she's even a JD member anymore, since I never even got as much as an explanation for never receiving anything from them. My feelings for Hemish's predicament are far worse though, so for this I should be dissallowed.

Plans are in the works for another round this year. There will be some rule changes in light of some of the things that happened last year. Look for more details later this month....

Is there somewhere that the program is outlined that I can read before I get myself into this. I know you have done it in previous years, and before I commit I want to make sure I don't become a **** up.

My first year I ended up getting Scream 3 and some clone troopers from my S.S. I didn't have that large of a Star Wars list so I went with listing DVD's. I think you can list other things as will; Music, DVD's, etc.

Bigger lists that are more diverse really tend to help out some of us that lag behind in supply or have less "new" product around that we can score and ship out. So yeah, DVDs, CDs, toys, whatever you can think of is really fair game and definitely can help out the Canadians in particular.

Can people please start posting lists so we can get stuff out in time for a change. Canada Post sucks ass, so the sooner the better.
Oh, and odds are for me the gift will arrive while I'm away, so don't panic if I don't report back on receiving it before Christmas. As an additional FYI about the royal suckitude of CP, Scott mailed my gift last year before Christmas, about a week into December and it arrived three weeks after in the middle of January. Scott was totally on time and it still didn't make it here. Canada: your third world neighbour to the north.

Unfortunately I've already sent the list of Secret Santas out to everyone (a couple days before you asked), so I'd have no one to pair you with at this point. I suppose if someone else wanted to join up at this late juncture (and knowing that you'd be their not-so-secret Santa), we could get you into the mix. But I don't think there's going to be any more interested parties wanting to join at this late juncture... :-\

With the big blizzard we had in Colorado the mail got all ****** up and we didn't get anything over the span of the 21st to the 23rd. USPS decided to deliver mail on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Me and my family had just finished opening our presents when the doorbell rang, and the mailman dropped off my Secret Santa present. I got a couple TSC Sandtroopers and one of the final 22 clones, my Santa (Robb, I think...) sure knew how to shop for me. Thanks Santa! :)

Tonight was the first night I've been home since the 26th, and you're gift, waiting in my foyer, was a most warm welcome, and the perfect reminder as to why I love this community so much. I was never able to find that in stores and not as though I passed it up, later regretting it, but really, I never saw it anywhere. I've had it on my list for quite some time and became discouraged a bit ago, thinking I'd never find one, so you're gift to me is most unexpected and quite a pleasant surprise. Thank you, so so much, for it. I will definitely be partaking in this next year, if it's not too bold to plan so far ahead. This was my first Secret Santa experience, not just online, and I loved giving as much as getting. All in all it was wonderful and makes the Christmas season so much warmer. Thanks to everyone, but especially to my Secret Santa, for getting together and making this work so nicely.

I have to admit no small amount of trepidation opening the gift too: the ongoing joke regarding shopping carts had me fearful as did the ewok ( >:() on the address label. Fortunately though there was a lovely selection of Galactic Heroes in the box (all of which I did not already possess) and a lovely package in Disney princess wrapping paper that I can only presume is a very thoughtful and gracious gift for my daughter (I peeked and I don't want it :P AND there might be a shopping cart in there). Thanks again Tracy :-*
