More customs -

These are the original Teal'c figures. The following are custom Teal'c figures. Most of this is simple head swapping.

The body of the figure is the Elite Serpent Guard that was a mail-a-way figure that I swaped heads with.

These Teal'c figures required a swap of legs to make. Simple heat the figure up with a hairdryer and pop them apart. Heat them up again and pop them back together.

Picture of what Teal'c looked like on the TV show and the look I was trying to recreated.

I used a WWE Triple H figure and cut his hair off. Then I cut thin strips of them and glued them to the face to create the soul-patch.

This Teal'c has been a year plus in the works. But is almost done and I will post pictures wtihin the month of it being done.

Figure on left is the regular and the figure on the right was a head swap with a different Samantha Carter figure.

Middle figure is the regular the others were just a head swaps with other figures to make more Cameran Mithcel figures.

The middle figure was the case topper that was limited to 1500. I got 4 of them and swaped heads with all the different figures (not pictured is the Cameran Mitchell).

I went a purchased a section of cloth that closely matched the look the figure had on the show. I then glued a section of that fabric to the inside of the hood. I changed the black skull head that they had put on the figure with a crystal skull that came with the Black Op's Daniel Jackson. I attached a LED light into the crystal skull and glued the skull in place. The cord for the light goes out the back of the hook and seperate from the body. The green base is the battery pack for the light.

Star Wars Action Figures / knashdx's customs
« on: January 19, 2009, 07:01 PM »
First of many customs to be posted. Most are not Star Wars as they have ben the easiest to do. This is my most recent and easiest custom to date. Took an extra animated C-3PO (right) and painted him silver to make TC-14. I still need to slap a coat of clar paint on him to preserve the silver paint.

Watched the show Friday night after Clone Wars was over. Loved the show. Definitely a great show and has a ton of potential. The actress that plays Ashley (Amanda's daughter on the show) is really hot.

Watto's Junk Yard / Clue - No longer the game we grew up with
« on: August 19, 2008, 10:03 PM »
As we all remember growing up the game of Clue was a great game of who done it and where.

Professor Plum in the Library with the wrench...

Well no more! Hasbro has decided to make the game a bit more modern and attempt to get it to appeal to what they call "Tabloid Culture".

Check out there story.

Goodbye, professor. Farewell, colonel.

Toy maker Hasbro Inc. has updated its classic Clue game for today's tabloid culture to include younger characters, more weapons, and new rooms, including a spa and guest house.

The six characters' last names remain the same, but their first names and bios have been updated. For example, Miss Scarlet is now Kasandra Scarlet, a famous actress often featured in tabloids. And Mr. Green is now Jacob Green, an African-American "with all the ins."

Colonel Mustard is now Jack Mustard, a former football player. The professor? Now Victor Plum, a billionaire video game designer.

Each character — rounded out by Eleanor Peacock and Diane White — also now has a special power that could help players discover clues more quickly. New “intrigue” and “clock” cards add clues and can eliminate players in the latest version of the game.

Hasbro has also lengthened the weapons list from six to nine. The candlestick, knife and rope remain, but now weapons choices include a dumbbell, trophy or poison. The lead pipe, revolver and wrench are no longer part of the game.

Meanwhile, new rooms include a theater, spa and guest house nearby.

Pawtucket, R.I.-based Hasbro has previously updated Clue — first created in 1949 — with an express version and a Simpsons version, but the new incarnation will be a replacement for the original version of Clue currently on store shelves.

It will be available nationwide beginning in the fall, for about $15.99.

Other Toy Lines / DST - Office Space
« on: November 1, 2006, 11:46 AM »
Here is a story that was posted on Diamond Select Toys regarding licensing for the movie Office Space.

DST Signs Office Space!

Diamond Select Toys is pleased to announce their latest license acquisition – Office Space!  Under the terms of the license with 20th Century Fox, DST is able to produce a wide range of collectibles from the classic workplace comedy created by Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Beavis and Butt-head) including prop replicas, bobble-heads and action figures!

"Now everyone will have the opportunity to own their very own Office Space collectibles, as well as other items based on the characters and situations in the movie." said Diamond Select Toys Marketing and Sales Supervisor, Michael Leavey. “The specific details of this product line are still under development, but fans of the movie will have several great items to look forward to. We promise everything ‘Office Space’ will be done with flair.”

Stay tuned for more updates and product announcements as work on this legendary license continues!

Collections / KNASHDX's Collection
« on: March 8, 2005, 10:18 AM »
Here are some pictures of my collection for my palls to enjoy.

Hallway to the "Star Wars Room"

This is as you start to walk down the hall to my Star Wars room. My display case is on the the right. Pictures of that are shown in a little bit. You see a pictures Yoda and the Cantina Toast. Both pictures were picked up from the Star Wars fan club when it was based in Denver.

This is the other wall in the hallway down to the Star Wars room. I have a Dave Dorman Lithograph of Vader (Left) #79 or 1500. And a Photomosaic picture of Vader (right).

On the extra wall next to the doorway into the room I hung a chrome picture of the Bounty Hunters and an autographed photo of the actress that played Aurora Sing in TPM. You can start to see my Star Wars room.

The Display Case

This is a full shot of my display case that I keep my "Movie" & "Comic" figures in.

The top row of my display is my X-Men comic figures and Wolverine. There are the X-Men figures that are from the Marvel Legends line except for Cyclops & Archangel who are from the X-Men Classic Line. As well as my different Wolverines. I have 1 of all the different Mavel Legends pieces, as well as the 2 Marvel Select pieces. I have a Wolverine Dr. Pepper Can from the X2 promotion and a Wolverine pewter arm.

Here is the start of my "Movie" pieces. I have the entire NECO Ghostbusters line, ET, Hagrid from the Harry Poter movies, Puss in Boots, Evil Queen (from Snow White), Beavis & Butt-Head, & Jenna Jameson (back with Pink Pom-poms). On the other side has all the Marvel Comic's that have been made into movies, Wolverine for X-Men, Hulk, Spider-man, Daredevil, & Blade. There is the LOTR set consisting of Sauramon, Sauron, Gandalf, & Ringwrith. As well as everyone's favorite evil doctor, Dr. Evil, his pal Mini-me, and FAT BASTARD!!!

The 3rd shelf is all of my McFarland stuff consisting of figures from the following series of toys Shrek, T3, Sleepy Hollow's Headless Horseman, Alien & Predator, Alien vs. Predator, Movie Maniac's 2 - 7 (Crow, T-101, T-1000, T-101 endoskeleton, Aliens & Predators, Robocop, & Hicks), Matrix, & Collectors Club (Stealth Predators & variant Hicks).

The 4th shelf has my Mc Farlane deluxe sets. Alien Queen, Alien vs. Predator from the Movie Maniac's line, TX vs T101 from the T3 Line, and the deluxe Headless Horseman from the Sleepy Hollow movie.

The bottom shelf consists all my over sized figures. Black Knight, Tim the Enchanter, & Bridge keeper from Monty Python & the Holy Grail, R. Lee Ermy from Full Metal Jacket, a dancing gopher that plays Kenny Logins "I'm Alright" from the Caddyshack movie, "Joliet" Jake & Elwood Blues from the Blues Brothers movie, my Stay Puff Marshmellow Man from Ghostbusters, and my 2 favorite Transformers; 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime and Unicron.

Please note Unicrons hand that is not holding anything. This is why I love superarticulate toys. You can get them to do cool things.

“Star Wars Room"

This is a picture of my entire Star Wars wall right now. More pieces will be hung but that won’t be until after the Convention in April.

This is a close up of some of the Exclusive figures that I have and the OTC figures.

This is the deluxe figures & a couple of the international 2 packs that I have. The deluxe figures fit nicely into Starting Line-Up protectors.

This is my Orange Card & SOTE figures. I was really excited about hanging up my old school stuff.

This is my collection of my favorite baseball players; Mark McGwire & Nolan Ryan. These are my favorite Starting Line-Ups of these 2.

On the opposite wall from my Star Wars figures I have put up these shelves. The glass is from FAO Schwarz when they were going out of business from the Mall of America.

Right side has my Kotobukiya Darth Vader, Movie Theater Luke from the ROTJ SE release in 1997 and a couple other cool little things I have. There is a big space that I will explain after all the pictures.

On the top of the right side I have put all my Steins and the 3 mini-busts. I have included my Wolverine Statue that my wife purchased for me because I didn’t have room for it in my display case.

On the left side I have put my Cinemacast Vader. There is also a big space to be filled.

Left side on the bottom had the 3 Hallmark replica mini-lunch boxes, there is my full size replica lunch box that I picked up at ShopStarWars.com last year, a couple of different Darth Maul statues, and a couple other knick knacks.

As you walk in the room there are these shelves that I have started putting my Unleashed figures on the top 2 and on the bottom shelf I have put the 25th Anniversary scenes, the Trash Compactor scene, and my B’Omarr Monk.

The 2 spaces on my self are for the 2 Darth Vader statues that are being released later this year. 1 of them being the 1:4 Scale statue from Sideshow toys.

Pictures of my in-wall display case will be posted soon as I just finished putting everything up in there and haven't taken pictures yet.
