Just wishful thinking... I know the Padme and Obi Wan Evolutions are on a lot of Wish Lists, but how about some others? Forgive me if this has already been brought up, I don't recall seeing it anywhere...

I love all the clone ideas, except for God's sake, I never want to see that red clone captain released again. I dig the rest of that Mygeeto/Snowie pack though. The EII clone can just be plain white, or an embryo in a jar, or a clone kid too.

Padme and Kenobi definately. I would not mind more clonetroopers either. I would not mind Luke and Han or even Leia. I guess it would depend upon which outfits they made and how they turn out.

I would be all over that. I'd like to get ahold of as many evolutions packs with OT stuff, either army builders OR main characters. I just don't like the ratio I am getting of the PT stuff at this rate. I am getting stuck with 2 PT figs for every Tatooine Stormtrooper. By the time it is all over and I have both versions of the Tatooine Stormie, I'll be over run with Clones....

If they put the quality and articulation and accessories into Single Carded figs like they do EVO's I'd love it...

But here is my take on it....make all 3 different head sculpts, but make the "pegs" that the heads fit on ALL THE SAME SIZE. Removable headgear for each soldier, and include a "4th" head. That way if you bought 4 packs, you'd have 4 different heads on all 3 body types. Then for the variation, make the Hoth Rebel an Echo Base Trooper, the RFT an Honor Guard and the Endor Rebel one of the different uniforms.
I'd max a credit card out on that pack.....then sell a kidney for the Stormtrooper pack that LandotheScoundrel mentioned...

Oh no, I appreciate all your efforts, I'm just afraid some day you'll get sick of EPII clones and then I'll be drowning in them.
There are two things that are keeping that from happening; 1) they come in white pretty soon, if they were all yellow I'd probably stop sooner and 2) the Pilot helmet - makes it a specific figure that you can't get an SA version of any other way, and the pilot only came in yellow, so it makes sense.
So, I'm keeping pilot helmets on all the yellow ones (for the most part) and will keep regular clone helmets on the white ones.

Yeah, Jesse and I were talking about something similar in the other Evolutions thread a while back...
I'd also like a Rebel Trooper set...
-Tantive IV, Hoth, and Endor... The army builder sets would have me shelling out the cash like there's no tomorrow. *sigh*
As long as they have alternate heads... one thing I can't stand is having my army builders all have the same heads! I mean it's fine for Imp Troopers with Helmets, but for guys like the hoth dude or endor dude it would suck to have a bunch of the same guy - they aren't clones after all!
Now, the way to really do it up right would be to pack in 3 alternate head sculpts and then make ALL six of the heads (3 on the troopers and the 3 extras) interchangable!
Then, you could buy 6 of Jesse's proposed Rebel Trooper sets and have six "unique" troopers for each movie (tantive,hoth,endor) without having to chase down a bunch of corps figures for customs/head-swaps!

Ever since they did that dagobah Luke, I've been wanting them to try an army builder with alternate heads like that. If they could find a way to pull that off, I'd be right there with you buying as many of those packs as I could! ;)

My hopes aren't that high for them though......they can't even make helmetless clones have the same size head peg/post. and they are CLONES....
It also means that HASBRO would have to acknowledge the army builders/collectors. They can't tell me kids don't army build either, between 77 and 84 I had at least 12 stormtroopers, 12 Snowtroopers and 20 Hoth Rebels...maybe those research numbers were lost when the Kenner offices were taken over though.

disco your evolutions ideas have a single flaw in my opinion: that would be the fact that i'd have to buy all of them, some multiples, and that would require me spending more money i don't have other than that it sounds really great. which as you know is one of hasblows basic principles to come up with a great idea like the evo sets and only limit to 4 sets and making them hard to find.

I agree with your list 95%. The only things I would change would be to give Luke his ESB blaster, make a Hoth Han instead of Bespin, and instead of repacking the Obi Wan pilot, make a SA ANH version because the VOTC one missed the mark IMHO.

I guess, now that we've seen some of what the Evolutions line has to offer in the future, we could throw out some ideas again for this line. It seems with the character offerings this year, anything (PT, OT, EU) can fit into this line now, so it opens up a lot of possibilities. What would you like to see in this line? Here's a few I'd like to see, and keep in mind all figures are "ultimate", SA, etc. so we don't have to list that each time ;). I'll use the "Legacy of" banner, since that is what they seem to like these days:
Legacy of Obi-Wan Kenobi - TPM Obi-Wan Kenobi, AOTC Obi-Wan Kenobi, ANH Obi-Wan Kenobi
Legacy of C-3PO - TPM C-3PO, AOTC C-3PO, ANH C-3PO (with what they did with the 4-LOM body, there could be some nice improvements.
Legacy of the Rebellion - Rebel Fleet Trooper, Hoth Rebel Soldier, Endor Rebel Soldier
Legacy of Princess Leia - ANH Princess Leia, ESB Hoth Leia (unless the comic pack one is good), ROTJ Slave Leia
There of course could be more Padme sets, there could be repacks if there was demand (something like VOTC Stormtrooper, VTSC Snowtrooper, VTSC Biker Scout), and then there could be other sets that I'd like to see if we're not going to see a return of the VTSC line (I want my "ultimate" Bespin Han somehow). Its tougher to think of three Hans to re-do though, unless you'd do a "scoundrels legacy" or something like that.
Legacy of Han Solo - ANH Han Solo (VOTC repack), ESB Bespin Han Solo, ROTJ Carbonite/Skiff Han Solo (unless the desert scene one fits the bill, I don't think the TSC version they did is the best they could do - they could also include a new carbonite block as an accessory, since one figure is a repack - but that wouldn't happen)
Legacy of the Bounty Hunters - AOTC Zam Wessel, ESB Dengar, ESB Zuckuss
Legacy of Luke Skywalker - ANH Tatooine Luke Skywalker (new), ESB Hoth Luke Skywalker, ROTJ Death Star Luke Skywalker (new)
Just a few off the top of my head. It also depends how much you want to get into EU stuff, if you need other ideas for main characters like Luke, Han, Leia, etc. I'm interested in seeing some of the other ideas out there with everyone.

Some good ideas for sure, though I'm pretty sure that a Han or Leia set would be a tough sell. Maybe not so much with Han if they really did a great job with the Bespin version and included a new carbonite block... I think for the most part they are going to steer away from using just one character in these sets, Padme being the exception perhaps because of the great variety of her outfits.
I think we're going to continue to see more of an EU flavor with these, which is fine with me if they use good material... of your ideas Brian, my favorites are the Legacy of the Rebellion and Legacy of the Bounty Hunters.
I'd kind of like to see a theme for Evolutions go into the direction of maybe focusing on one era of Star Wars with each set? Maybe something like this -

The Evolutions line is probably one of my favorite items Hasbro's ever created... The concept delivers 3 figures for a fair price in general, and they're always pretty high quality (so far). I really feel Star Wars as a long, continuous story, lends itself well to the idea as well... For instance, I liked getting an NJO Luke in the Jedi Legacy set... I would've preferred a different Mandalorian in the Fett set, but it's still a cool figure and probably overall makes more sense (though the Mando guy from KOTOR would've been cooler, just on how his character looked).
For the "army building" aspect of things, Hasbro really has a winning format with Evolutions... I know I still buy the yellow Clone set if I see it... I mean, a Sandtrooper's always welcome, especially since I'm into non-film dioramas, and the Clone Pilot and Star Corps Clone are welcome additions to the army any time you can get them.
If they ever did that Rebel Evolutions set, I'd be sad... only at the thought of how I'd afford as many of them as I'd inevitably want. That'd be an incredible set if done right.

Yeah, I know who you're referring to and when I saw his picture on the card I was not amused. While it is a good sculpt of someone, it doesn't really capture his likeness in my opinion. In the deleted scene aboard the Falcon he's not wearing gloves while manning the ship's laser guns and he's older than the figure's youthful appearance without the goofy grin and that ridiculous copy-cat raised-shoulder pose. Would you follow that figure into battle? The other "commandos" at least look halfway like tough guys. The black variant is definitely the superior of the two. (As repaints go, I am just barely accepting Pax Bonkik as legitimate if that tells you anything about my fondness for "cloned" variants.) And why waste a cool name like "Airen Cracken"?
So, I guess I should have included "SA, re-sculpt".

I think that these Evolutions sets are probably going to be our best bet for getting more figures from the KOTOR era.

my son and I were really looking forward to the Jabba's palace 3p0 with pull out eye damage and salacious crumb but since 3p0 doesn't even have the articulated knees, it's just the ep3 repainted with green jabba slime and a silver lower right leg, we were disappointed. I need to get another articulated knees 3p0 since the other one broke due to too much child play ;)

I dunno... Seems like anything Neimoidian = a BAD idea at retail. Not to say I wouldn't be happy to get certain unmade Neimoidians either, they're part of the saga and all, but at the end of the day their track record at retail is as dismal as it gets. I'd hate to see a set like that gum up the already popular Evolutions line and bring it down any. Hasbro's formula's pretty good and not oversaturating things. Tough to argue that it needs fine tuned at the moment.

I think the best way to sell Nemoidians is to space them apart. So many at the same time would be a bad idea for Hasbro, regardless of how much some people like them (I like them too though Rune!).

i would like to see a rebel trooper evoloutions pack that has all 3 troopers super articulated
since the ones currently do not have good articulation
also i would like to see a 4 pack of arc troopers with all colors green, blue, red, and blue
